  • I do not have spare time. I do not spend time on TV or social networks. I spend my spare time entirely on my kids helping them, enriching them and supporting them in any possible way. Although I have ideas and knowledge and skills, I do not see myself as an entrepreneur till my kids are on their feet. It could take the whole active life time

If it’s sizable enough and you have some money to invest, hire someone part time and tell them what you need done and keep on top of them. 👍 you got this mama!

  • Things appear strange right now. The value of the US dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate. People are flocking to the dollar because they believe it is safer. I'm worried that rising inflation will cause my $420,000 in retirement funds to lose value. What else could we do with our money?

  • She makes a good point about the corporate mindset. I started a company several years ago that never left my basement. We had 2 employees including myself and 2 contractors on staff. Ended up making close to 10 million net profit before it was acquired. I have a friend who started a company, raised 3 million in funding, rented office space, hired 10 employees and 4 contract houses. He burned through the cash and never made more than than the 50k per year salary he paid himself. But he got to experience what it was like to be the CEO of a company. Personally, I'd rather work in my basement and keep the cash.

  • When I was in high school (1980), I was called into the principals office for a questioning… what are my plans after I graduated? My mind was set on becoming an artist… but when I was on my own… I encountered the shock of my life! I had no communicational skills, and found myself homeless and struggling with reality! But I had one “gift” that helped me cope… I was intuitive… stupid… but observant: but I was extremely slow in processing information. One of my failure points was that most of the jobs that I was able to get didn’t last long because I became board or wanted “something” I would enjoy and be fully satisfied with. However… I had a different problem as well, I kept wondering “about God”? A long story short… encountering a religion that was different… (again) having a problem regarding the information intake… but eventually studying the Bible. My entire life was changed by this study… but amidst this study I also encountered a grievous breakdown, of which forced me to see reality from a whole different perspective… “THE WHY” of everything… which also shifted the nature of my studies. I could see the faults in the system… Politically- psychologically- and in religion. Nonetheless, having listened to Elon Musk views regarding education, I tend to agree with his perspective, in that not everyone has the same nature of learning capabilities, and that not everyone has the same level of understanding as to what they are capable of. And though there will be people who have the potential of becoming successful in some business fields, but there are others who have other skills or gifts that will benefit society in some form or fashion. But in the end… the quality of a persons life is also dependent upon their relationship with their employer and peers… and what they are capable of producing or creating.

  • School doesn't teach you real-life situations. Rules and regulations make it extremely difficult to build and grow many types of businesses today. Most people don't understand why their business failed until after it's done. Kids today are looking for that get rich quick scheme. When I owned my last retail business, half my profit went to paying taxes. The majority of the rest went to insurance. We didn't take home anything and struggled every day just to keep the lights on. We hired "tax professionals," which actually ended up costing us even more. Not just in the sense of having to pay them, but also in the sense that they weren't interested in finding tax credits to help lower our tax rate. In the end, when we closed the doors, our attorney asked us many things to why we didn't do things that would've helped us. Simple, we just didn't know. No one ever taught us, and we didn't know even to look for it. All the business classes I took never taught me anything to stay in business in real life. They all seemed to be a "scare tactic" to make sure I stayed in line and never stepped out of the box. The world is full of lies, deceit, and scumbags that make it hard to achieve anything.

  • I hated school, including pre-school. All the rules, no room for exploring and imagination, be quiet, you have to take a nap now I don't care of you're not tired. Then in grade through high school exactly what she talked about: only talk if you're called up, only one right answer, etc. I tried college - I wanted to major in forestry and minor in music. But before I could even take what I was interested in, I had to take 2 years of courses that had nothing to do with either of my interests. I understand how English, psychology, math, etc. can help in my desired fields, but to do those to the exclusion of what I really wanted was too much and I left after a year. In the work force, bosses usually loved me because I finished work quickly and got bored easily, so I started looking around for ways to improve what was being done. Several times I was promoted to a managerial position, but still I was in a small box. (A few bosses hated me because I didn't just do what I was told, I questioned if something didn't seem right or could possibly be done in a more productive manner - those were the "this is how we always did it" people.) I'm now a self-employed musician. It took 10 years to get here, working for small companies here and there while building my own business. Yes, I often work 24/7, but it's work I love.

They didn't want people making mistakes and not following rules, when working on the aircraft. Then I got out of the Air Force and lived in Germany, where they too put a fear in you for making any mistakes. lt's also why German engineering and quality is so high. Making mistakes is in the culture. However.... they also know that making mistakes is also human, so you aren't chastised for making any mistakes. Do not waste your money or time on any school or taking classes about how to start and do a business, the best education you’ll ever get on how to start your own business and run your own business is by doing it, the money you spend on trial and failure of a business will cost you less money then it will cost you to go to a school to learn anything about business. For the rest, we have one teacher around 30 kids in each class, at least 50%-75% of the teachers and students are not their to perform their best most of the time. Union contracts, unmotivated parents, and other distractions (cultural or otherwise). I suggest she spends a couple of years actually teach in a K-12 classroom environment (assume they let her do it without a credential), then we can talk again

  • I very much agree with her ideea that schools systems are built to create employees. All those things children learn without having any interest and then taking exams, form exactly the mentality to obbey commands. Now, there is nothing wrong with that. Most people are comfortable living like that, as employees. If everybody would have been like this woman, then nothing could have been done in the world, from the lack of employees. So she speaks for the few ones that are not satified with being an employee and clarifies certain aspects of what it means and what it takes to be a business owner. The ideea is that people find out what represents them, what they want to do in life and most of all what do they like to do., not to try to become entrepeneurs, because that not might be the right way for most people. For example, I discovered that for me it suitable to be a minimalist. That's my thing. I love having free time and I don't mind not having many material benefits. Find out what is it that you want, what you like.

  • That's why I am a strong advocate and supporter of homeschooling. Not only are kids petrified, worrying if a gunman will enter the school at any moment, but they also have to deal with bullying and so many other issues prevalent in schools nowadays. Furthermore, as Bob Proctor once said, schools teach nothing about earning money. Homeschool your kids, people! 🙏

My kid brother was home schooled in the early 90's, he and a group of his buddies wanted to go to school together. Kim Kiyosaki, Jeff Bosos Wife, and Melinda Gates are 3 women who earned, (not deserved), every penny they got in their divorce settlements. There should be classes in earning money, the kids would have such a leg up, not even funny!!

  • I was a teacher for years. In my degree program I was trained to ask, "What do you like?" and then personalize the curriculum to each student. It might have been a lot of work to implement in the classroom, but I didn't ever really find out. 2 things would happen when I attempted to do this in the classroom: 1) Students would look at me like a deer in the headlights, ask me for an example, and then copy the example to the tee. There was incredible resistance to using creativity - it's been trained out of them. 2) Parents would complain that I was indoctrinating because (to their mind) education is the place where there is only one right answer and multiple choice is a key of good education. Our system paralyzes students and freezes them into the status quo. It's really sad. So sad I left teaching.
