The only reason everyone's doing cut kick is because any other kick is too slow, and only result in the opponent scoring a point, they aren't idiots. And they can't go into like crazy because the opponent can easily pick you off

Not true back kick and roundhouse and front kick is really fast. I've done them pretty quickly

@@Not_Ace_The_Plague Yea, but they also don't want to risk creating an opening for the opponent to counter, which is why in Olympics you'll see them bounce alot to not create any opening

@@cydu I understand but those kicks are easy to counter especially if done 5 times in a row, a decent fighter will pick up that pattern and punish you for it, it's a safer kick for blocking but easily dodged and counterd, but they never once tried, sometimes you have to take risks, being too safe is as bad as being too risky

Because they are competing for the prize money lol but I agree.. Whenever someone scores a point they get so excited and sometimes just focus on scoring a point instead of thinking and using different moves to attack their opponent.. Like ive only seen 2 moves :|

The Koreans wasted the TKD for making acrobatics which gets defeated in any serious full contact encounter. Furthermore they get as always +10 points for just appearing. Started with TKD 40 years ago. As it was a real thing. It got worse and worse.
