  • Thankfully, I acknowledged this thing 2 years ago. So when you write your goals do not write 1-Have superb shape , 2-speak French fluently 3-get high marks But write 1-train every single day 2-learn French 7 hours a day 3-study 4 hours Thanks Zoe ❤

    • @blususpect. No doubt you are the pure definition of over gullible/naive person. People who really do want to achieve something/ do better things (or whatever you wish) in their life are not the ones who trust every single thing they hear and see on the social networks. You absolutely know NOTHING about her. The whole behind the scenes is not showed for some reasons.

    • I challenge you to take the Clozemaster 10 languages 10 questions each challenge. Pick any 10 languages video yourself taking the challenge and inspire us. (whether you have studied are familiar with or not). This is a fun opportunity to showcase your talent with a little bit of humility proving you too are human and still a language learner. You can put the flags of the 10 languages you choose for the challenge in both the thumbnail and the title and tag the video as #takingtheclosemaster 10 languages challenge. While also tagging the languages of the challenge. When choosing from a diverse variety of languages consider this, to include some of those you're familiar with, those that you are not, and those that you will later learn. Choosing to include a conlang like Interlingua and an ancient language like Latin will keep the challenge diverse while bringing recognition to these languages (you may surprise yourself). Consider getting a hold of Clozemaster they may be interested in sponsoring the video. We as a community of language Learners need a challenge that we can all appreciate and try together. To get the most out of the video challenge adjust the settings as follows: put the skills to listening, the question count to 10, and the mode to multiple choice. Then you can adjust the account to dark mode (as it's more attractive) and the default speed to 75% for better hearing the questions. Doing a dry run will ensure all the settings are correct. Keep a notepad by your side to keep track of the language scores. Before you end the video it would be nice if you encouraged other polyglots and language Learners to take up the challenge. Buenas suerte Carpe Diem السلام عليكم

  • Hi, Zoe and Happy New Year! In my fitness journey, I've managed to attain a much better body composition in 2023 while staying at largely the same weight by making measurable increases in my main lifts and performing certain athletic movements more efficiently. This has been achieved through a very similar process you mentioned--SMART goals: Specific. Measurable. Achieveable. Relevant. Time-Bound. Now I plan on using that same structure this year to improve my Spanish to a B2 level and build a beginner foundation for Mandarin--while also finishing my graduate work this semester. As always, you're an inspiration. Keep up the good work and Happy Year of the Dragon!

  • Failing to achieve New Year's resolutions is a common issue, often due to a combination of psychological and practical factors. One major reason is the tendency to try and change one's life overnight, setting ambitious goals without a realistic plan or understanding of the gradual steps required. Doubting one's ability to achieve these goals can also lead to a lack of commitment and follow-through. Another factor is the lack of a supportive environment and concrete planning. People often set resolutions based on external pressures or vague aspirations, without a deep personal desire or a clear understanding of why these goals are important to them. This lack of intrinsic motivation can make it challenging to stay committed when faced with obstacles or when the initial enthusiasm fades.

I can see each month which tasks im not doing at all and assess if i want to keep them for next month. These tasks are very simple such as - 30 minute walk, make a daily plan, read for ten minutes, one page of Quran a day, 30 mins language studying etc. Thank you for this video and im reallllly looking forward to your time management video :) Also everyone remember we alll have different circumstances with children, family, work etc so don't be hard on yourself :)

  • What helps is creating a pretty stable and consistent routine, but that's not necessarily possible for everyone. The method I use instead is (excluding work and basic chores that are non negotiable) to try and do something "extra"but useful every day, maybe even for only a few minutes, but that's better than wasting time doomscrolling and such. For instance, I hate exercising but at least I follow some simple routine online, it's much easier for me to stick to this instead of buying a gym membership that i know I won't use. I also carve out a little time to watch a little tv in original language, so that I can maintain the vocabulary and pronunciation. Everyone is different, we just have to find what works for ourselves.

  • Hi Zoe, Happy New Year! Last year was my best year in terms of language learning because I set myself realistic goals. On the other hand, I was too ambitious with my gym life and, to be honest, lazy with my diet. Something I'll have to change. I've achieved: -Go from B2 to C1 in English -Go from A2 to B2 in Spanish I've failed: -Reach HS4 in Mandarin -Gain more muscles -Read more books (for pleasure and not for work) This year I have made some plans to make a detailed study plan for Mandarin, get help from a nutritionist and read in the weekends instead of trying to read every day and failing. Please make a video about time management! I'd love to hear your insights! Greetings from Brazil.

  • Flower of gratitude In the window It’s the evening outside. Four walls embrace my sight. My eyes are looking for something beautiful to let go off the sad and tired thoughts, the moment of a rest to give my heart. My eyes were drawn to the clay pot and stopped upon the bright bud. My roommate is a plant, and there is a beautiful flower in the white pot - a yellow carnation it may soon happen - It seems the bud is going to burgeon. As if the plant felt the touch of my gaze, or so it seemed, it spoke very quietly to me. I try to concentrate, not to think, but to feel and hear it. Maybe, my neighbor has something important or interesting to tell me. I look and wait. I try to make out the details of the delicate, thin yellow fabric is being squeezed into a burgeon. I feel that the magic power of the bud has begun to attenuate. I have no more strength to hold onto it: the precious bowl on the flower stalk is about to release a blob of gentle bright yellow heat. One hour passes, another. The bud began to whisper secretly something. Then there was a slight push against the thick walls of the void, and again the infra-low frequency of the friction of the delicate petals of the fabric. The stem seemed to sway. It's already nighttime. With certain sense the room has begun filling up. There is a life inhere, small and fragile - it is beautiful and strong enough to protect its clod of soil all the time. There are no more words. The room is silent again. Only a bright yellow color, a subtle and delicate aroma palps the senses of the audience. The feeling in my heart is blossoming, and in the gratitude for your care, the delicate petals are smoothly opening. I see that there are many of them in the bud. The smell of tenderness and comfort stronger has become. There are more and more of them - the flower is blooming. Like a fragrant ether of warmth radiating smoothly, a bunch of neatly folded wavy petals gave me a smile. A beautiful flower, giving off a yellow warm light, illuminated the space gently. Thank You. With respect, Author Andrii Sizhuk

  • Plan and live in 'day-tight compartments'. A goal should be something that you could possibly fail at; something which is a challenge. EVERT little step towards that goal is also a little victory. Plans must be flexible.. after all, life isn't a timetable schedule.. and don't forget that spending time in nature is as valuable as anything.

  • The one thing I have just realised is that not all things are in our power or not everything depends on our actions and while we are planning, we should keep it in mind. For example, at the very end of the last I started my KZhead channel and surprisingly my very first video (to be more precise it was a short video) got me 1,5k views and I was very motivated and kept posting more short videos and at the beginning of January I made New Year resolutions and among them there were tasks as getting 200 subscribers and 10k views in January however only recently have I realised that the number of of views and subscribers actually is not in my power because even 100 videos may not get you those subscribers and views yet the amount of videos I upload is completely in my power, so that's why while planning, be aware with his fact and you will not be devastated

    @paceeamore5901@paceeamore59014 ай бұрын
    • Je trouve que Busuu est un outil insuffisant pour apprendre une langue ! Même deux mots par jour est insufisant aussi ! Désolée pour ce commentaire mais je te conseille de travailler plus pour avancer vite et ce n'est pas très compliqué. Tu peux par exemple apprendre au moins dix nouveaux mots chaque jour avec un contexte stimulant surtout des histoires Pratique la lecture et l'oral beaucoup avec un prof ou un partenaire. Bon courage 😊

      @sihem_zeynebDhahar@sihem_zeynebDhahar4 ай бұрын
    • @@sihem_zeynebDhahar Merci pour ton commentaire Sihem et tes encouragements 😊 que ce n'est pas compliqué, c'est pas sûr ! Parce que je n'ai pas du tout d'expérience des langues étrangères. J'ai débuté à 30 ans y a 2 mois et demi en ayant eu le déclic. Un ou deux mots par jour, je me disais que c'était suffisant, comme j'apprenais déjà du vocabulaire indirectement sur Busuu. Sinon justement ça ferait trop pour le cerveau. J'entends beaucoup aussi qu'il faut faire de la lecture et de l'écoute, et sans les sous-titres de sa langue maternelle. Donc oui, je voudrais intensifier tout ça, parce que j'aimerais profiter de cette jeunesse qui passe vite en connaissant d'autres langues 😅

P.S. In any case, Zoe has an excellent physical shape now and before.

  • How can you manage to learn language with other responsibility or other stuff . I tried to learn French، Urdu ،Persian and Turkish. However، I couldn’t manage learning languages with learning drawing and learning stuff about computers and with my job which take most of my time .I have other interests but I couldn’t achieve most of them .

  • you know what it is? i have not set goals for new year since forever. because i know every year will be the same for me. so setting goals is not really a priority for me. i have been living the same exact way for about 10 years. thats not going to change.
