  • 2 more things; 1. Can come with a tow hitch but only on SR+ and LR, not the performance (although there are a handful out there) 2. Come with 3 pin and a 16a commando by default (not 32a like earlier UMCs), plus type 2-2 cable.

    • If TSLA stock can manage growing at the same CAGR as it's done since IPO in 2010 (~60%), it will 10x over the next 5 years... so $7000/share in 2025. While I think the chance of this happening is less than 10% -- Tesla's financial performance still needs to grow into its current valuation -- Tesla (like Amazon) will trade "rich" (trailing P/E >100) until it's no longer in hypergrowth "mode". How long until that happens

  • If not mentioned, probably the biggest problem with Model 3, in my opinion, is what I can only describe as a design flaw in the A/C system of the early Model 3s (not sure if they ever fixed it) that results in vinegar-like smells when the car gets about 1 or 2 years old, and it generally requires yearly A/C clean-outs to prevent. Cleaning out the A/C requires new filters and something like Klima cleaner reapplied on a roughly yearly basis.

Oil on my free will, but rear would have been enough, due to the oil analysis done by Oilcheck de. Brakes around changed due to rust. You do want to buy "Se_y Buttons" to set the recuperation from 100% to 25%. Then the factory brakes stay clean and last (nearly) "forever". Battery is fine, as I 99% charge to 70-80% only. • Great information, didn’t realise that factoid about the brakes. I’ve ordered a new M3P in New Zealand about a week ago and was figuring on using the brakes once in a blue moon just so the issues you mentioned don’t occur, but that’s unnecessary. As you would know, Tesla are constantly making changes to the cars often without telling anyone, one of the big changes to the Performance that occurred in 2021 (late 21 early 22) was Tesla no longer offered the lowered suspension.

  • You missed the one feature that has been removed - and that is absolutely critical to me as a one-eyed person - the original cars had ultrasonic sensors accurate to 1cm. Tesla still hasn't provided a replacement for parking, some 1 year on.

  • I will be buying a used 2019/2020 Model 3 in the summer and have a question if that's ok. What's the best buy (if both vehicles were a similar price) out of a Standard Range Plus or a Long Range with a higher mileage?

  • When it comes to buying one with fsd or upgrade software packages, can't Tesla just remove those at any point as they aren't really sold with the car but the owner?

  • You won't believe this. I bought a brand new Toyota C-HR 3 months ago. The car is fine but doesn't have the ' wow ' factor. Yesterday I placed a lease order on a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. I know I will lose money selling the Toyota. I don't have home charging because I live in a flat. My daily commute is a round trip of 6 miles and I pass a Tesla Supercharger on the way to work. Have I done the right thing ordering this car? Please tell me I'm not stupid. Subbed to your channel.
