Whenever I’m doing recreations and can’t get the paint distribution right I just make a couple simple geometric decals color matched to the main body. Then I can use those to cover bits I don’t want highlighted. Lots of decal work def takes way too much time for good content creation but I’ve gotten pretty efficient at the simple stuff. It’s even faster and more flexible if you make a set white decals. Then you can just make a copy and color it whatever you need for that particular build. Over time I’ve built up a repertoire of blank decals that contour to a lot of the frames in the game. It’s allowed me to get really specific looks with just the basic paint tools and simple shapes.
Yea. I just get too annoyed and frustrated with using decals for that so I usually avoid it. But I have done that before too

A shame we didn't see her more often in the story, we hear her speak a few times off-screen, but only see her in action TWICE, which I find odd since the game seemed to build her up as a fairly important character...
