There are lots of questions over how it will all work. We do know each district can determine if guns will be allowed on school campuses.

  • Finally people are actually doing more than just talking about solving the problem and are actually solving it good on you Tennessee

  • Back in the 70s-90s, we never tested our good teachers and authority figures and elders in the community, because we knew there was a high possibility that we'd get clapped on-sight, imprisoned, AND failing with an 'F' for violating. Make Losers Un-Cool Again, Memphis.

  • When I was in high school, the shop teacher kept a loaded 1911 in his unlocked desk. Everyone knew it, no one cared. I was a member of three gun clubs, one of which used the firing range at the local university. It was common to see rifles and shotguns on gun racks in pickup trucks in the parking lot. Students brought their rifles into the school and put them in their lockers. We used to go hunting after school. You could buy bricks of .22s at the corner gas station. There was never an ‘incident’ or problem.

  • The playing field has been leveled. Both teams now have a quarterback.

  • I agree with the bill. In the public schools many of the kids are already armed - not to even mention the threats from psychotic non-students. Therefore, the teachers should be allowed to have protection on the same level of lethality - but only after regular psychological evaluations and extensive training.
