What makes the 343 works is Kulu. Richie does not know how to be a winger and what he has to do. often plays center or narrow so no space for Kane or Son. Hence Spurs look better when they switch to a 352.

Mostly because of the football we play yet it's effective and we've clearly shown toward the end of last season we can play beautiful football under Conte we just haven't clicked into second gear yet which makes for promising signs how we've still picked up many points not at our best.

In the second goal, Son Heung-min played a bigger role than Hoybjerg
He was the dummy runner...pulled the defense with him
it's called team work. just wanna know that they win so son did what he had to and Hoybjerg scored so that was excellent
Hojberg should've passed to Son tho. He is a far better finisher and had better position. Hojberg was lucky his shot got deflected and went in. (hence you can see Son wasn't happy and celebrate the goal).

@@empress_0 you mean when he got a (slight) push to the back and then Pickford put his head to Kane's thigh and his arms to his feet? You can see from Pickford's face in replays that he knows what he's done, there's been no complaints from any players/staff about the decision.
Fun fact: this was the third time hojbjerg and kane scored in the same match where we scored only 2 goals. First- Chelsea, second-fulham, third-everton

Love the season we’re having and have nothing against the way we’re playing if it brings results, but can someone explain to me, from a tactical perspective, why we’re not banging in goals left and right like last season? I remember spurs scoring 4+ goals in a number of games last season
because conte plays 3-4-3 and park the bus out of possession. last season we had kulusevski that binded the counterattacking play together but recently he has been injured and our counter attacks have been mediocre. but in this match richy was subbed out and bissouma was brought in for the formation to become 3-5-2 which allowed for benta and ho to move forward and attack more which produced the goal.
Kulu factor. not know tho why Kulu not playing that much this season.

Spurs looked so much better when they switch to a 352. Richie getting inured was a blessing. He was not playing well and was just proving he does not suite the 343. With in minutes of the system changing Spurs looked better both in defense and attack. Unless Kulu is fit Conte should play the 352. There is enough midfielders in the squad.
I saw the game on the telly + the co-commentator was Lee Dixon who, in spite of his ex-Arse'ness, is pretty decent + I don't find him too annoying. He made me laugh, too, with a comment he made that not only was funny, it was also reassuring + made it clear things are the way they should be, what needs to be done is indeed, getting done. Let's face it, that's not always true, by any means......... Anyway, Dixon + whoever it was (I'll call him Mr X), were commentating away, the ball goes into the crowd + Mr X says something about the Spurs fans you could at that time, see. Nothing remarkable, I couldn't tell you what he said, but that's not important, he just says something acknowledging the presence of Tottenham fans. Then, Dixon, in response to that says, 'I'll probably be meeting some of them, later.............. Looking forward to that.' OK, I realise your sides probably aren't splitting + you're not in much danger of wetting yourself, no more than usual, anyway. You had to be there, it's one of them that doesn't sound funny when you re-tell it. So, wtf am I doing re-telling it?!?!? Something else I can't tell you?.....?....... It was funny at the time, I can tell you that much, I did actually wet myself, which I think removes any doubt. What he was talking about, I'm talking about the ex-Arse Dixon, is the inevitable stick he was bound to get, at some point during his time at the fabulous Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he was commentating on the game against Everton. The 'stick' I refer to is that which any ex-Arse clown can expect to get if he should ever visit North London's home of football + its number one sports arena, arguably the nation's number one. Whatever his reason for attendance, it's only right + proper he receive a certain amount of abuse, a lot, being that amount, + he should expect nothing less. Clearly, ex-Arse Dixon knew the score, he knew what was coming, his ironic talk of looking forward to it clear evidence he understood the situation + was resigned to its inevitability. It's the right attitude to have, under the circumstances, + ex-Arse Dixon deserves some credit. I wish him luck with finding someone who'll give him some. Did you see ex-Arse Dixon on Saturday??? Did you get to hurl some abuse at him???? Just remember, no one can ever tell you it wasn't the right thing to do........ No one, ever!!!!! I'd just like to personally thank you, I'm sure you did a great job. All too often, these days, we forget about what's important, I'm talking about values!!!!!!! Richarlison can be more deadly with better off the ball movements. Only the time will tell. Still, COYS need a creative midfielder like Eriksen. Then the team can do 343 and 352 with more depth in their roster.
