Rublev tsitsipas is the start of an intense rivalry
@Arjan Satjot Aiden 😀😀😀😂😂👍👍
Tsitsipas will come out the underdog, sorry.
"This rivalry is intense"
Lot of Russians here..including his "friend" one Daniel S Medvedev and Sascha Zverev.Tsitsipas is half Russian himself
Last 4 Non-Grand Slam big tournaments finals - Paris Masters: Medvedev - Zverev, Novak dint play, Rafa played ATP finals: Medvedev - Thiem, Novak & Rafa played Miami Masters: Hurkakz - Sinner, Novak & Rafa dint play Monte Carlo Master: Rublev- Tsitsipas, Novak & Rafa played Rublev & Tsitsipas are 1&3 on live ATP race and 1&2 in terms of most wins this year. Trend is good for next gen. Grand slams are the last frontiers.
Rublev's form ever since Fededer predicted him to be the guy to watch for has been out of this world !! vamos BWEEEEh
congrats stefanos from rhodes island greece :-) . 250.000 prize money (tax free he resides in monaco lol) plus 1000points which brings him 4th in ranking passing roger federer ole lol
Rublev is far more than a one-dimensional ball basher, as evident in today's semis. He not only one of the hardest hitters of the ball, but also one of the grittiest. For Medvedev to get past Rublev so many times, is mind boggling. Immaculate defense, variety and ability to attack at the right opportunity... seems to be the antidote for Rublev (not many can do that)
Well said.
I also honestly think Rublev just has some sort of mental block against Medvedev that he needs to get over.
I think Rublev has done very well on his mental side this week
Rublev is improving mentally and also his BH way more solid and consistent, something opponents of Quality were able to expose, those 2 things are finally coming along, so expect more of Rublev on the final instances of big titles
His in court game (close to net) isn't his strong suit
Tsitsipas vs rublev...rivalry of the future
yessirrr
And GOATvedev is their father
@@sunflowersofinferno7904 on clay Med comes after tsi and Rubl
I won't, exclude, a fit healthy Medvedev. Exciting, new times, aside from Covid.
@@carolmorris404 Not on clay, he's very performing on hard courts, but Tsitsipas and Rublev are better on clay.
Man, when Rublev is locked in, it is herculean task, to even have a chance of beating him. Guy doesn't miss and sends rockets past you. Tsitsipas, with his Federer like variety and creative potential, is one of the few guys who can go past Rublev. Going to be a brilliant finals.
You're correct Tsitsipas plays as same as Federer's style of play.
There is only one federer ; since i am watching tennis i have never seen a creative; stylish player like federer; i am sry but 100 of tsitsipas cannot be compared with him. This is not because he won 20 grand slams; even nadal won and will break his record but with boring monotonous game.
Don't get me wrong, Rublev is a very good player, has a good work ethic and I am glad he tamed the bull. However, he is still a very one dimensional player and has no net play and variety. Simply put, he has no plan B. Plan A- Hit hard Plan B- Hit harder He is not better than Nadal, Djokovic, Zverev, Medvedev, Thiem and Tsitsipas. Tsitsipas straight setted him at last years French Open and choked the Rome final against him. Medvedev owns Rublev. He straight setted him in both USO 20 and AO 21. Granted he has plenty of time to improve further, but he more often than not falls short against the best.
@@raju21386 yep. Federer is his idol anyway. He said it several times. Makes sense that he plays like him
@@jacobschmidt2709 @ your analysis is very accurate. I like it.
What a performance from Tsitsipas! Looking forward to the final very much against Rublev. Evans certainly had a great week in singles. Now he has advanced to the doubles final. Happy for him.
Ohh.... So that's why Evans didn't look sulky after the loss... Money still rolling in the bank
@@atomics.h.1824: He didn't look sulky because he knew he went way deeper into the tournament than he was supposed to.

we have to say Tsitsipas is a fantastic clay court player
It's probably his best surface
Evans, too, it seems. He’s downed some big names here
We knew this 2 or 3 years ago with how he played against Stan and last seasons performance
Right now he could be the 3rd best clay court player in the world. Nadal and Thiem are top 2, you can argue between Tsitsipas, Djokovic and Zverev for 3.
@@SJ-di5zu Zverev isn’t that good on clay
Ruud vs Rublev was a bashout, on who could hit harder. The Tsitsipas- Evans match was far more interesting. Stefanos strategically dismantling the "Evans slice show", was a treat to watch. Hope he lifts the title.
True! Watching Ruud-Rublev was like watching Nadal-Djokovic. Back and forth, baseline duel. Tsitsipas-Evans was more like Nadal-Federer.
My two fav players in the tour right now and the future in tennis. Rublev tsitsipas

@@marioglory8528 CONGRATULATIONS 💜💜💜 Unfortunately he stays No.5😭😭😭
Come Monday Roger will be #8, Stef stays #5 has to catch up to Dominic Thiem about 800 points behind
Rublev is playing great and so is Tsitsipas. We are gradually seeing young players overtake the great veterans.
Tsitsipas absolutely has Evans' number. Won all three of their matches easily without dropping a set. Tsitsipas is much more of an all court player and knows how to deal with Evans messing people about from the baseline with his slice. Here, tisipas hit with a little more topspin, getting the ball high and out of Evans' comfort zone, while also pushing him back. He also got into the net and kept the pressure on Evans.
Tsitsipas is playing ANGRY...I love that
Bravo Tsitsipas! What a brilliant performance by him. Patiently dismantled Evans with a thousand cuts.
Tsitsipas likes those kind of chess matches. That's why he does so well against Federer
HADES: Yeah, he knew early on that this just wasn't going to be a problem.
Evans was a perfect match-up for Tsitsipas as he's a top player who doesn't rely so much on counter-punching and is able to develop his own power, so Evans' change of pace and flight was unlikely to bother him. In addition he is quite prepared to advance to the net more than most and as that is an Evans strength, he was able to neutralise that. He won't be able to benefit in the same way against Rublev, so it will be very tough, but I would like to see him take the title.

A new rivalry is born for the next decade! Stefanos vs Andrey Rublev is definitely the best russian player because he is consistent in all surfaces but stefanos is the most talented young player! Let's go Tsitsipas!
It will be interesting to see how Rublev and Medvedev do at Wimbledon. Neither of them were at this level the last time the tournament happened.
"Rublev is definitely the best Russian player" That statement can't be more wrong. Last time I checked, Medvedev is world number 2 and straight setted Rublev at both the USO 20 and AO 21. He nearly beat Nadal too. Master 1,000's: Medvedev 3, Rublev 0 WTF's- Medvedev 1, Rublev 0 Grand Slam Finals: Medvedev- 2, Rublev- 0 Granted Rublev has time to improve and make a case, but Medvedev is far ahead at this time.

Tsitsipas is an absolute monster and a feast for the eyes in this tournament. Hopefully, he will beat Rublev tomorrow and earn his first Masters title. He deserves it! 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
If anyone deserves it more it is Rublev after being Nadal on Clay.
@@samuelkumar7780 Tsitsipas has beaten nadal on clay too
Deepak Kumar Stef beat Nadal on clay at 20 , so Rublev doesn't deserve anything until he wins the final.

Tsitsipas demonstrated a clear superiority. Very fair victory ✌️
True the first sentence. But there is no such thing as an unfair victory :)

I was feeling the same 2 years ago when I started to watch all his games. Andrey is something else ( there can be others more talented, maybe!). But Andrey has that power that makes the difference and nobody else from the young generation is more hardworking. ( you also see his hunger to do the best, be the best...) This guy really has champion mentality! And always are people who say his game is one dimensional, and to much power, and so on... But for me, and I guess for many more, this is the style we enjoy!

Tsitsipas style seems like old Roger style , so nice , but Rublev is something apart, his forehand is such a great shot , so precise and powerfurl. Will be a nice final tommorrow
I like Ruud. I hope he can win a great tournament in the future
The Rublev backhand is the real weapon, it rarely misses
Brilliant performance from Stefanos.
7:22 BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH
Congratulations Stefanos, you are a great and consistent player! 👍
Looking forward to this match up. Rublev loves bashing the ball as hard as he can from the baseline in all directions. Tsitsipas may not necessarily have the brute strength but has a wide skill set - volleys, drop shots and has good court coverage. So we will see, I love the contrasting style of play
When rublev yelling bweeeh . The shot power increase 50%.
Good run, Dan! Hell of a week with singles and doubles.
Federer predicted Rublev as the future of tennis 3 years back...the man knows talent more than anyone.
Μπράβο Στέφανε μας έχεις κάνει περήφανους !!!!!⭐🎾 💙👏👏👏👏
I can really see Tsitsipas winning the RG this year. He's definitely the most comfortable on clay and has improved a lot since the last year.
He's definitely going to be a contender. Last year's RG run was his best slam performance yet. I expect him to be at least in the semis again this year.
@@kieranrankie203 Exactly, semifinal and very tight five setter against Djokovic. I feel like hes even better this year so final or win doesn't seem so impossible.

Andrey Rublev's *Pure Brutal Performance* 👏👏👏💪💪 *HE SURELY DESERVES MANY GRAND SLAMS , especially Roland Garros 2021* _He is in too good form right now_ 🎉👏👏💪💪
Go Rublev! 🔥🙏
It's not Fed vs Novak, but the people who get to watch the finals live should be happy with Tsitsi vs Rublev. High entertainment value style matchup.
Of course we are ! Two fantastic young players facing each other on a masters 1000 final.
Rublev deserves the title after dethroning the king but Stefano's is a completely different player, for someone so agile he also has a really solid serve which is superior to Nadal's and he can go toe to toe on the rallies with rublev. I'd expect this to go to 3 sets
The younger guys are _really_ coming into their own. Love Andrey's fight and how much Stefanos has seemingly matured. Let's see how they adapt to best of five sets on clay at RG!
Next gen is getting better 👀 Go Tsit...
They have improved? In what? They are stagnant, that’s why the circuit is so unpredictable, they have a good results in a tournament and the other tournament doesn’t exist, it’s only to see what happened in Miami or how Djokovic ate Medvedev in the AO final.
Time for Bwehh to clintch its 1st atp Master title .
The Legend of Bweeh continues
Tsitsipas is going to win the tournament, but probably in three sets -- they are both very good players on clay, and wish to see more great matches between them in the future.
Tsitsipas is a choker. He has not chance vs rublev

I hope you are right
It very well could happen. However, if Tsitsipas keeps his head together, he will win.
Tsitsipas will win 🇬🇷 provided he doesn't self destruct ...
Agreed. Tsitsipas is no doubt the better overall player, but Rublev is mentally tougher and has more power. If Tsitsipas stays mentally strong throughout the course of the match, it will be his to lose.
Rublev seems like a nightmare to play. It's all out aggression all of the time.
I especially liked Tsitsipas half-volleying form the baseline and not retreating. Maybe Zverev should take note.
Frankly, there is a lot Zverev maybe should take note of- he's a bit one dimensional, no? Now Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Rublev are thrilling to watch, with levels to their game. Also, I like Sinner and Alcarez, there on the horizon.

Mr Rublev could you please explain the secret behind your success? Rublev : BLEEEEWHH
Not many ppl talking about ruud but i like how his groundstrokes kinda resemble nadal's style. a lot of topspin on both wings and he has surely built some biceps to support "the hook" forehand xD. he certainly must have taken some inspiration from nadal, and given that, and what he displayed lately, i think he is gonna have a lot of success. at least on clay.
Rublev is like a super steady Davydenko with 10x power and a wig. LOL...
First Masters 1000 for one of these two tomorrow! Should be a great match with them both at their best. I would give the edge to Tsitsipas on clay but Rublev just beat Nadal so his confidence will be sky high.

Kudos to Evans and Tsitsipas for playing real tennis, with a single hand, not that unfair 2 handed thing
Looking forward to that one tomorrow!
Good runs for both Evans and Rudd.. Rudd, however, broken Rublev once each set, but did not capitalize on it. Hopefully he has learned from this. But really, Tsitsipas and Rublev have been the most solid, earning their way to the final. I would like to see Tsitsi get this one, perhaps third time a charm. Rublev is just as deserving of course. Let the best man win his first Masters.
Can’t wait till the finals 😱😱😱❤️
Rublev is playing some nutty tennis
To beat annoying players like Evans you need a huge concentration, fitness and intensity. What a performance from Tsitsipas!
I do like Evans- every sport needs some piss and vinegar players that will just not roll over- beat Djoker damn that's a tournament right there!
Bad matchup for Evans, Tsitsipas loves having time to set up for his big groundstrokes, so Dan's slice backhands won't work as well as they did against counterpunchers like Novak or Goffin. Great controlled aggression from Tsitsipas today

While Rublev is playing great tennis, his style of tennis takes a toll on body leading to injuries in the medium to long term.
