The offense definitely got better with the addition of Jacob’s and Lloyd! Aaron jones is amazing but he missed half the season. Lloyd is basically just like Jones. He has the #1 back on a bunch of peoples board. He’s super shifty and hard to tackle just like Jones. Between Jacob’s and Lloyd that’s better than Jones alone and then you still have Dillon to pound it. They are 3 different styles of RB which is ideal for matchup problems on different teams. Love and the offense isn’t going to start rusty like they did last year either. Rodger’s never practiced in the offseason or went to no mandatory camp. Love is grinding and practicing all off season with these receivers and actually going to every camp. You stack the packers improved offense with a way better defense and you got a scary team!
Im a packers fan Lemme tell you… the moment I got the ESPN notification that Joe Barry was fired… I SCREAMED SO LOUD. Like somebody was getting murdered. I was in the Empire State Building attending a Percy Jackson Disney+ event and the friends I made on the line prior to the event jumped and was asking what happened? It was honestly one of the happiest days of my life recently.
Im a lifelong packer fan and i find it disappointing that the happiest day of your life was someone getting fired. This new breed of packer fan is disheartening to me, its fine to believe someone needs to be fired, but to revel in it is disgusting to me. I hope you find real happiness in your life one day

We were losing games we shouldn’t have lost cuz our defense that was coached and coordinated by him was absolute garbage and pathetic. He did not belong on our team with so much potential to be great with such a young roster and such a talented defense to have delivered such abysmal results. I was more happy that we were moving on from him to get someone better so that we can properly achieve the goals we want to accomplish. It was unfortunate for him but for the sake of the team, it was long overdue for a change and I couldn’t be happier for the new era in Green Bay

I think everyone is wrong about the Packers offense at the end of last year. Jordan Love catching fire happened BEFORE Aaron Jones returned from injury. I truly believe that the passing game opened up the ground attack, not vice versa.

This coming season is going to be soooo much fun. Every team in the NFC North is improved. Every team is capable, if not dangerous. As a GB fan, can't wait. I'll take what we've got. Heartaches to follow.
Ascend is a bit too high for my blood but I'd love to see improvement especially on the defensive side. They were a good team that had some struggles early on but they managed to work out some of the kinks before their season ended.

I like dave post draft ranking up until 8th because 9th and 10th are crazy in a world were jets, cowboys and maybe even miami exist. Bills are in a rebuild and browns had a great season with flacco but watson looks very 2nd or 3rd tier to me com 4:35 pared to a lot of other QBs

He has a team full of veterans that were all pros and pro bowlers.. even Jimmy G took them to a Super Bowl and that was before they got CMC that's why people don't give him enough credit. The Packers didn't have a single pro bowler last year and besides running back and one half of their o-line their entire offense was rookies or 2nd year players, besides Doubs and Watson their entire WR and TE core was from their 2023 draft that's why Jordan gets so much praise.. like the Texans that team wasn't expected to make the playoffs last year, let alone make the divisional round.
People in the Purdy is trash camp aren't going to change their minds quicker than people did about Brady. Brady had 3 rings and owned his division for 15 years and was still labelled a system QB. I think that’s pretty fair to have the packers as the 6 ranked team after the offseason/draft acquisitions! They are a young and extremely talented team and as a Packers fan so excited to watch them play next season. I still would have the chiefs, ravens, lions, 49ers and Texans above GB in the Power rankings. GB definitely will have much higher expectations this season and hopefully barring any major injuries, will live up to those expectations. Honestly would love to see a Lions vs Packers NFC Championship, that would bring in so many views🔥🔥
The Packers beat the Chiefs and Lions last year. They largely outplayed the Niners, faltering right at the end. None of those victories were flukey. And the Packers have pumped a bunch of new talent into a roster that really only lost one significant contributor from last year. The end result is that a VERY solid case can be made to put the Packers right in the same group as those top teams.

Like you said GB has improved from a roster standpoint and helped fill their team needs in FA and the Draft so absolutely they can compete with those teams, but I would put chiefs, lions, 49ers, ravens and maybe the Texans ahead of them as of right now, that definitely could change when the season plays out

LOL...James mad about #6. I'd love to argue for them to be higher...but that's pretty reasonable! My Darkhorse, LAC. Joe Alt is a BEAST. You get him, Slater at LT/RT, that is the building blocks of an OL. They're going to run the ball, Herbert will get more PA passes. That team will get better. Not top 6 better, but top ~10 ish? And then...after that, they could stop the Chiefs run. I hate Harbaugh, so I don't like saying that, but they're loaded. For YEARS they had the pretty, flashy skill players and everyone asked how they could be 6-10 or 6-11. They won't be asking as they build that OL.

They didn't even mention they beat the Niners for 3 quarters and they finally showed their youth not finishing that 4th quarter. They and Detroit had them beat. I think the NFC is gonna be controlled by the Packers and Lions the next few years. Dallas and the Niners are losing talent not building more talent. GB and Detroit are ascending rapidly.

Why everyone sleeping on the Packers again of course we are going to improve a lot of teams this off season have improved but despite the big moves that were made everyone still except James Jones is not ready to admit that Green Bay is one of the top 3 teams in the NFL cause everyone puts Detroit ahead of us. News flash we beat Detroit during the regular season on Thanksgiving and they beat us once earlier in the season so in my book that means that we should at least be right below them. I believe that Detroit is overhyped and going to be a non factor this year in terms of the Packers success because Green Bay is the better team top to bottom and that is what nobody is talking about. The amount of depth there is at almost every position is honestly insane because last season it was a lazy susan of who was starting that week and yet we made it to the playoffs. Jordan Love is going to be competing for an MVP next year and a super bowl because San Fransisco is old and their time has passed. Also remember that Jordan Love and the Packers beat the 2 time super bowl champions at Lambeau during the regular season and that tells me that this team is primed to be the next super bowl champions.

I get it, the Packers made the playoffs and destroyed the Cowboys. But lets not forget they were 9-8 (two games above Vikings and Bears). To call them "real contenders" is a bit of a stretch. Lions are the only team that separates from the rest.
Why not? Jordan Love is the truth and they have a talented young roster which destroyed the two seed on the road and almost knocked off the 49'ers, beat the Chiefs at home and the Lions on Thanksgiving. They are going to continue to develop together. They are a contender.
