3:55 Yessss! I know exactly what you mean, I've just had that EXACT problem, how do I do a root smudge without getting it onto the blonde, because it's almost impossible to blend with the blonde and not get some of it ending up through the strands and you end up with a murky blonde. This is the answer I was looking for, you're an amazing teacher! Love your work.

I’m in school right now and I’ve been obsessed with this formula. I was finally able to try it out on a willing model yesterday. She has a lot of grey throughout her hair, so my THEORY was that if I used a 10 vol developer with these toners that it would last a little longer in her hair. It came out pretty, but it doesn’t compare to your work obviously. Thanks so much for sharing these videos.

What was her base color to start? I love that color. It looks like the color of sand. I keep trying to get that color but it goes either to dark or to brassy.

so fun to watch! how long do you usually leave the bleach in?
depends on how the clients hair lifts but around 30min give or take.
How did you get it totally blended without a root tap with the teasy lights ? Sometimes I’ll get splotches with the teasing or if it doesn’t go all the way to the root it looks harsh
Teasing for me helps it no look harsh and I take pretty fine sections to help it not get spotty.
What do you make of this formula ? Would it look good? dark hair lifted to 8 / 9 it will be orange 🍊 yellow 🍌 All over 9v & 9g… Ends -? Root melt-? I dunno 😂
