First time ive watched these two fight. They both fought well but, i was surprised by the outcome as i thought Yama put in more work. She has the heart of a Lioness. Great Fight 😎

These two women are probably the best in the industry...yamaguchi can throw down hard and take a punch while Lee I see as just relentless and able to figure ways out of a tight situation. I am definitely a fan of these two women including the brother of Angela Lee. Great fighters here
Possibly best In One Championship absolutely yes! But in thr industry? Like if you include Bellator, Invicta and especially UFC? Certainly not. With all due respect!

Also, another thing I notice Lee seemed to be on top of her game prior to being married then when she did she started losing or it looked like her fights should have been done sooner. @@jamessa0804 I think Angela is at 115 so she can compete in Strawweight! 👍 Personally against Rose, Angela's stand up will be terribly exposed. On the flipside Angela's grappling Is of a high standard however and could possibly cause Rose problems if it went to the ground. It's a tricky one to call! I personally would pick Zhang Weili over Angela Lee if they fought incidently.
@@ZamWeazle I’m from Hawaii so Angie is my girl but I agree with you she would be exposed by Rose. AL doesn’t move her head and she hold her head high. Rose punches very very hard just ask Johanna J. Knocked her down and in another match knocked her out. JJ is no punk. Rose is really good on the ground so I don’t see an advantage there. I believe rose would have the height advantage, with that height her leg kicks would be devastating. Roses Cardio is second to non and she has been with the best in the world, she’s been with some bulls. These girls wouldn’t measure up.

Can't agree, no way was it a unanimous decision for Angela Lee. Commentators as usual partisan in favour of Angela Lee, not sure why? Much smaller Mei Yamaguchi fought excellently and finished stronger.
I think the same the winner should have only won by one point as it was that close.
I think Lee outpointed her and did more damage on the ground.
I love Angela Lee but in my opinion this fight belongs to Mei Yamaguchi. Awesome performance by both.

Both are warriors in my book and both are winners! That was to close to call. Hope they have another fight together because it would be worth it!
Unlikely because this was their second fight and Lee won both. Generally they avoid a third in these situations because it’s unfair to give the loser endless chances to crack the code. Even Urijah Fabre only got 2 fights with Mike Brown. IIRC Urijah was an undefeated champion going into their first fight and he lost. In the second fight Urijah broke his left hand and right thumb within a round and a half and he fought the rest of the fight throwing just elbows. Urijah still didn’t get a 3rd fight.

Yamaguchi won this fight, she was not overwhelmingly dominate but clearly beat Lee, you can see in Lee's face at the decision that she is expecting a loss, it's apparent the judges were giving it to Lee because she is considered a Star..

You can tell by Angela's reaction to the decision that she didn't really feel she deserved it, but also was not surprised the judges gave it to her.... Either that or she concussed. That's just not the reaction of somebody who just made a legit successful title defense.
Could be her expectations were higher. Example, anything less that total domination is a loss or failure. If I was expecting to win by k.o. but ended up with a decision, I'd be a bit bummed
From what it looks like to me she had the right reaction for someone who already holds the title if anything she's disappointed that she didn't win by submission instead she won by decision.

@@reusedcontentreporter3337 don't have to I believe what my eyes see if the champ put the same effort in the first 3 like she did the last 2 she would have won the only reason she went as hard on the last 2 is because she was behind and needed a stoppage or a kO to win and she did none but finished strong but not enough to over come but rest assured it will be a third fight and I don't think she will make the same mistake she lost and who knows she might have lost on purpose to generate a bigger contract for the next time they fight it's a business too these things do happen a lot

I agree with the judges. Near subs are scored very high, Lee had several Mei had none. They both had good exchanges on their feet, Mei kinda worked the bike a bit. Lee was dominant on the fence and the ground! Also Lee is the existing champ, Mei needs to TAKE the belt, not just have a few highlights. On top of all that Lee had great defense on her back, but also scored strikes from there.
In my own observation in this fight Yamagochi won in a very big margin.

As I understand when it's a close match and for a championship, the champion will always win because you need to do more to upset a champion. In close matches the champ wins by default

Lee is dominating the 1st 2nd and 3rd game and the last 2 round is they both did a great job but lee's defends and ground and pound is really good.they did a great job😊❤

Um no. I'm not a Stan of either of them . But Angela got more kicks and punches that landed on Mei. Mie put up good fight on the ground but was kept smashed against the cage . I used to compete in some tournaments in tkd. To get the most points you have to land more kicks punches etc in the beginning and keep them comming and or get a ko to win the fight

I am not a watcher of these fights but really enjoyed it. I see where Lee would have won early on points but the last 2 rounds were all Mei. I really enjoyed where Mei picked up the bigger Lee and slammed her to the ground. I agree with the comments and would have given the win to Mei. Mei really finished strong.
Yea I felt sorry for Mei. She thought she had won it also but the judges were bias. I could see the disbelief in her eyes afterwards.Anyway she’s tough
3-2 Lee. When Mei took Lee down she did little damage. Lee controlled majority of the fight. After the 3rd Mei had to finish Lee or she wouldn't win.
Im also new to this and I found this fight amazing! I dont know the rules well but it looks like Lee pinned her on the floor in that one round. And even tho Mei was stronger with more explosive strength, she could not dominate her in any round. Lee just had a counter to everything. But it was so close, I would love to see a third matchup of these two!

@@allanagan5103 Lee dominated most of the fight. Lee consistently took Mai down and put her in deep submissions. Mai had a good last round but wasn't enough to win the fight without a finish. Only bias person is you.
I dont know about that call, I think that last little effort in the last round by Yamaguchi gave her the edge, but it was an entertaining fight!!

I don’t understand the sport very much, but it was so exciting, they were so amazing ladies martial artist, am humbled by their total commitment and dedication to their sport. I thought Yamaguchi turned the match around to her favor, but what do i know. Great match!!!
Yamaguchi did what she needed to do to take the decision back in the last round. This decision is rediculous. (Stipulating of course, when it's KO there's no decision to be made.)
1 round without a KO don't win fights when you're down 3 out of 5 the closest she could have gotten with our a KO is a draw and I think she needed one more round to do that didn't happen she lost

Great fight but based on what I see, Unstopable has been stopped for over 2 years. For that length of a hiatus the organization should have offered the title to others willing to participate. A champion must prove that they are still champion in order to keep the title.

This is not boxing and is not scored by number of punches. Lee nearly won by submission with an arm bar and then again with a rear choke. She also did some damage with leg kicks and clearly won the fight based on the one championship scoring criteria

I thought it could have gone either way. But if Lee had the belt, then it’s fair to say that she defended it. If Yamaguchi had the belt, it would have been fair to say that she defended it. Two evenly matched opponents of different strengths. Yamaguchi is a stronger, tougher fighter. Lee is more well rounded and versatile. When they fight again, whomever has the belt has the advantage. The clear winner was the fans of MMA!
