Honestly... I couldn't grasp deeper about alfie, like failed to know alfie as alfie... Not tom as alfie... cuz i've watched dark knight... and he used the same way of speech, same vocal tone as Bane.... So for me, it's not a perfection.

@@rarespopovici4402 They're the same with Tommy. He probably was sure enough that Tommy wouldn't come to kill him again. Alfie's actions can't be taken face value. Whatever he says, it's just implications and cryptic messages. Like in that last chat with Tommy, he said that he saw it in his dream that he saw Tommy with a black horse, and BANG! Why? Well he's fucking saying that Tommy is always watched. _Some_ people, or group have their eyes on him. A group that Alfie is either in league with, or just have information about. Confirming Tommy's suspicions on somebody is just out of observation and there's a circle around him slowly narrowing down. Alfie was Tommy's link to deliver him from being a simple racketeer to a *businessman* who deals in powerful gangs and circles. Only time Alfie meant exactly what he is saying was during Tommy's breakdown in that warehouse. Even then, he meant to pull Tommy together to remind him that implusive and sentimental thinking is not how they operate.

Alfies violent nature doesn't have to be shown to make him an intimidating character. You just have to imply it through Alfies mannerisms and the way he speaks. That's why he's great.

I'd say James Delaney from Taboo and Bane from The Dark Knight Rises are equally impressive. Agree though would like a spin off.
He also did a great job as both of the Kray twins in Legend. But yeah Alfie is his best work and definitely deserves his own show. Maybe an origin story or something.

It’s honestly sad how proud I was of myself when it was revealed that Alfie was still alive. I remember seeing him come back and being like.. I win! My friends were so convinced he was dead but I knew a single bullet wouldn’t take down Alfie Solomons.

So many Peaky Blinder videos are blocked in the U.S. and I was so happy to see this one wasn't. I had clicked on this not knowing you had made a video for the show that I already adored and now I sit in amazement and wonder at how perfect this video truly does show how much of a truly brilliant character Alfie Solomons is. When he first popped up in season 2, he immediately gained a spot amongst my favorite characters on the show and continued to not let me down even in the moments the show makes you want to hate him. Alfie Soloman truly is a charming sly man that will always bring a smile to my face and gain my full attention when he comes up on my screen. Thank you for showing the small details the show gives to show what I've noticed and enjoyed about Alfie being his odd but genius self.
Thank you, it has been blocked many times before but for some reason it hasn't been yet. I really love Alfie aswell, so when I saw he needed a video I was happy to make one.
@@CalvinJames I just checked some I already had on a playlist and over half of then were blocked. I'm happy to see this one hasn't been blocked yet and I hope it will stay that way considering it gets me into a mood to just rewatch the show for Alfie alone.
Alfie was a real one. He didn't give a fxck who anyone was. He played the game and always came out on top. Love when Thomas Shelby said he crossed the line and came after his boy that Alfie had to remind him there was no rules to the game and that it didn't matter how big Tommy was him and his family was untouchable also reminding him anyone can get hit. He didn't care too much about relationships personally..just wanted to make the most money possible.

his range, body language, i think lowkey hes one of the best alive....and so is murphy....when he snaps on tommy and basically called him out for being a hypocrite right in his face lookin at him up and down, oh and also he had a gun to his head...thats some award winning acting...dude steals ad chews EVERY scene he's in...and is one of the most intimidatig actors alive..

Calvin James, this is very well done. It's beautiful, dark, funny and honesty. It's like a trailer for Alfie Solomons own series. Love the musical score used and what's it called the music you used.
Thanks man and i always put the music in my description. I remember when i first heard the music it just screamed Alfie at me. Also was a damn shame how he doesn't have many videos, most editors just jump in for a quick Thomas video.
