  • 9:17 my personal favourite headcanon about this scene is that Dante didn't throw the hat on. The power in it just sensed his overwhelming urge to dance and jumped onto his head

    • pretty sure he didnt throw it on. there is no hand or arm movement indicating a throw, also the way the hat moves in his hand while holding it suggests to me that it is struggeling to get out of dantes grip. when he let go, it actually did jump on his head

  • If you think about it, getting the King Cerberus weapon has to be a nostalgic moment for Dante, the last time he used something like it was when he was young in DMC3

    • He actually kept and use Cerberus till a month before this game. So he had it for more than 20 years. He came back to the island of dmc2 cause there was a demon causing mayhem (the demon was Balrog) so Dante used Cerberus. BUT in a shock moment, Cerberus sadly got broken into pieces. R.I.P Cerberus. (Also he defeats Balrog and that's how he gets that weapon)

  • I choose to believe that the rebellion shattering wasn't what knocked Dante out of his devil trigger. I see it as his power was exhausted at that point, and getting the sparda gave him his second wind. I'm probably wrong, but that's what I think happened.

    • @@leavez7000 Dante sells almost all of his devil arms when business is doing poorly, just to make ends meet. He keeps the ones with familial ties to him, such as force edge/Sparda, or his sword rebellion which he had since he was a child.
