If anyone has ever built a car you know just how hard what these guys did was. Beautiful build guys!
Thought the reveal was gonna be in Radiator Springs to be honest
I thought they was playing Shh boom...
Kylo Bentlee of
@Kylo Bentlee ok
@mrs abe you ever heard of sarcasm
Can I say (& I know many others would back me up on this) it's like a lost opportunity to create "The Fabulous (Doc) Hudson Hornet" 😭
@mrs abe tbh sticker printing is very easy, or for a better finish they could make the stencil to paint on. I guess after they poured in soo much effort to the car, they kindda wanted to keep it like a normal car than totally cartoon-ish.
The Faboulous Hudson Hornet is a Real thing you know. It existed in real world.
Sooo It’s not so cartoonish isn’t it ?

This is better than a doc replica any day
It brings my old memories with Disney's movie cars
Its Doc Hudson the Hudson Hornet
Uuiuy g
Pixar. Not disney
Yeah yeah

Coolest looking Hudson ever! I remember when that car was new. They were always considered an old man's car. Even when they won a lot of NASCAR races it wasn't very well known. Love the way they did it! Everybody did a chopped '49 or '50 Merc but never saw one of these. As far as the Bondo, all good paint jobs use a very thin coat to smooth out the body panels. It's probably not more than a 16th of an inch thick at most. I wish they would have shown more of the finished car though with the interior and everything. The trouble with doing these for a tv show means they have to have it "finished" in a certain period of time.
The Olds in my town calls it dirt derby not Nascar.
If I was old I'd buy one
My neighbor next to our shop had like 7 Hudson’s in his unit. He had a nicely restored ‘53 green hornet. The others he would only want to start them up and drive them like that. Nice spec! 👍🏻
Teamwork, craftsmanship, sharp minds, artistic ability, capability, patience , results etc.etc.. That Hudson makes it to the fine ride category !!!!! 👍👍👍👍
A beautiful restoration of a classic car. I like what I see what you and your crew did.
Should have a Hudson Twin H flathead 6 with an old school 4 speed Hydramatic!
I know the guy that owns this car. He is a Mopar fanatic. The plan was always to put a Mopar drivetrain in it.
Kinda makes sense, since Hudson is an inactive marque of Chrysler (via American Motors).
"Hey, Doc! Come look at this fella on the radio. He looks just like you."
I would never chop a Hudson. They were beautiful stock cars but, it's not my car and if it makes you happy or, the bidder. Good on you!
Beautifully restored, great work guys
Brings back memories of restoring a1951 Hudson Hornet with straight 8 love how it drove around in the parking lot lol great job when you got that many helping too Thumbs up fellas
Brilliant of brilliant team work
Awesome build.... nice to bring a classic into the modern age
What an absolutely SWEET ride! The Color is Perfect!
Oh god, I thought they were doing some sort of repair technique when they chopped off the top. But they straight up decapitated the poor thing.
Pretty cool... Hats off those members who worked hard on this. Not an easy one...
Beautiful car! Great job guys! Love color.
One of the best build videos I've seen, thanks.
Chop it up. Cut it up. Fill it with bondo. Does not make sense to me.
I was about to say. How is it a restoration is you're modifying it.
And no Hudson straight 6 Twin Power engine !!! Plus, all that work... and then paint it... BLUE ??? .
Are you people idiots? Like you guys don’t sound like you know what you’re talking about
@@Shade_tree_garage01 that's because they dont. Some mongoloids don't appreciate a good restomod. ove your channel!
@@Mr.Safety. It is not restored to it's original as possible. It takes time to restore anything. The research it takes and knowledge because you have to custom built parts would not fit in one TV show.
I wouldn't want to take it out in the rain. Beautiful looking car. Well done gentlemen.
Uns dos carros mais lindo que já vi em minha vida, parabéns pelo lindo trabalho.
So impressive.. excellent work ❤️
Badass! Has the looks of an old traditional kustom build 👍🏻. Wish there were details in the build.
Hermoso trabajo!!!
I’ve got to say you have some real clever dudes there and I think the results speak for themselves It is stunning I especially like the interior It is fantastic 😍😍👍👍
My grandpa has 3 of these sitting in his garage. Even tho they don’t run and they’re all dusty I love staring at them
don't tell these guys where you live. the cars will get hacked up.
Nossa cm ficou lindo, a equipe esta de parabéns nota 10.... Brasil.
Fabulous build
That's beautiful

beautiful machine
Beautiful
What a beauty!
beautifull work
outstanding!!!
Stunning car brilliant job cheers jj
How in God's name can you chop up a Hudson! Have you no souls!
of course they don't most of them Most likely Drive Imports or Chevys and don't know what Soul is, the problem with PN is at times they are out of touch with there viewers but again most people Cant Leave Cars as they were they have to do something ( normally what EVERY OTHER Car builder does ) to make them Stand out when one day Stock will be the new Custom.
@@DeceptiveCobras That's why OEM+ is a custom trend rn
Lil Miss Moffat and her little friends dont know what a cool custom car this turned out to be. You guys must carpool in Jonathan's Fiat 500 to get around town.
What's your point? You need reassuring on your personnal taste? I won't give it to you, find it elsewhere
I did not disagree with anyone on this comment thread. Why are you using my name in your pitiful attempt at an attack for?
Oh no, an original Hudson Hornet. I clicked because thought you were restoring it to spec. I'm sure you guys did a fine job, and the final product looks great, but I could not bear to watch past the moment you cut the roof off. Like another commenter said: " what a lost opportunity to rebuild the original Fabulous Hudson Hornet".
Kudos to whoever edited this 👏🏾
Excelente trabajo 👍
Que excelente trabajo los felicito
It's amazing.
Beautiful machine
Amazing built man
Outstanding and balanced.
Super clean
Great job! It deserves more interior and exterior footage of the finished car:(
you had a lot of nerve putting the hornet emblems back on tha "build"
My guess would be that they thought it was pretty easy.. because it is a hornet... It's not even close to say... a Toyota Camry... So yes... Hornet badging is appropriate.
@Adrian Vegas I know what your saying, and agree that it's not a factory Hornet... It's a restomod. When restomods are done well, I'm not opposed to them. It's a second life for an old car that would more then likely end up as scrap going to China. There are plenty of 100% factory correct cars though.
Oh shut up
That’s how it’s done! The classic American custom… beautiful work!
Waoooo ...u all done great jot hats off
Wow, nice work 👍
Incredible
You all did an amazing job, 👍🏻 it looks like a fine jewel. I wish I could see more photos of it finished.
Excelente muchachos gran trabajo una obra de arte con este clásico 😎💪🍺
All these negative comments. This is what the owner wanted. Look at the craftsmanship involved. These guys are on another level. Refabricated the whole vehicle.
Great to see serious people putting these cars back on the road.
Please tell me they fixed that trim alignment at 10:06
I sure hope so
They did. At the end when they are driving its perfect on that side
Having Ocd is more worse than corona.
Stone Heart im die😂😂😂
Hard work Built the Legend..!!!
job well done, bro!
Its Amazing work and Amazing Result Car👍👍
Sick sled 50s customs gotta love it
It's look like factory!!! Respect👍👍👍👍
Awesome guys
That thing is BAD ASS!
Uma obra de arte!!!
A Beautiful machine
It's truly a thing of beauty
👏destroyed a car nice ! You painted the car in bondo after grinding the paint off wtf
Makes it look smooth like glass. But I agree. They did some stuff I don't like.
They should have tried to redo it to the original color and restore it to it's original glory as much as possible. It looks nice but not like a true restoration job. It would take to much time and research to try to get to it's original glory as possible on a TV show.
Wow it’s awesome
It was a 51 Hudson Hornet how could u chop it and build it into a 49 Mercury because thats what it looks like
James Ellison sorry I am not big smart with cars but what are the difference they both look beautiful I love classics
@@SpecCodex your not wrong they are both beautiful cars but one was made by ford and the other was a one of a kind rare car brand
James Ellison yes I know someone said Hudson was really rare I guess that gave it a lot more value
@@SpecCodex Yeah Hudson was only made like two years so if u build them back to original they are worth more
You've got no idea what you're talking about, man.
After days of hard work, I love this 10:13, hear the engine roars, the sad thing is, "Authenticity"
Que coisa linda, um clássico
Great job 👍
Love these kinda videos!!!!
Thank you, most wanted!!!
There is no description for this work ... I will not say excellent, but there are several degrees of excellent ... But thank you for everyone who worked on this rare masterpiece ... even if this work was simple.
Amazing!
That is a thing of beauty. I don't understand all the negative comments I know it's not original because it is better than the original. If anyone says they would not love to own that rolling piece of art is either a liar or a fool! Nice job!!!
What A Job....i wish i have all the tool and equipment for my car....greeting from Indonesia ❤️🙏
Its perfect‼️💕
They make dead things alive.. It's absolutely beyond awesomeness...!!work
What a Legend car🔥
Never seen the chopping process until now... amazing
I love classic car ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely bad ass! Everyone; every part!
10:05 front of door that curve omg
When we were kids these cars were huge. But as adults they were built like a tank and floated down the street. Some of my fondest memories were in those old cars. Not all of the 20th century was bad.
I love the this car even if there all rusty but made it look like a car of a movie that I enjoy watching with my kiddos. I'm sold
And they did a really shit job of doing it also
Very good !!
Fantastic
Doc Hudson ! Legend
Nice work
