A stray dog was left injured after two pitbulls attacked it in China’s Fujian province. The owner of the pitbulls has been criticised on Chinese social media for not doing anything to help the dog, and later offering to pay just a fraction of the cost of an operation it needed.

The other pitbull owners love to drown out these lines in their head. It's like owning a pitbull is a religion and they can't wake up to reality. The only way these blind pitbull owners will learn is if an incident with their dog occurs, the owners will take full responsibility of the attack. That stray already had a very hard life.. and now this. I feel so sorry for the animals out there that had a terrible life especially the ones that nobody saved.
I have never cried at any online dog videos but this broke me. It speaks to me on so many levels... being attacked and helpless, suffering in your pain silently, still putting on a happy face, pushing through the tough times, praying to be alive tomorrow. This poor dog had no one to come to his rescue. I pray he is doing well and is adopted.
The pitbull is the real victim here. The amount of hatred it got for playing with a street dog is astounding.

we’ve had pit bulls my whole life and I’ve never been bitten or had them attack anything else. It’s always people who don’t know how to control dogs who take them in public. Any dog is capable of this, pit bulls just get the most attention.

The way he limped off...i couldnt have just watched. I would have ran to him and helped him. Not 6 hours later but 6 secs later. Poor guy...glad to see he is on the road to recovery

But in some ways, I can see why as some good Samaritans even got sued by saving the victims so you can understand why some are scared to help even if they want to. Therefore, it is out of fear as well and not just selfishness.

What terrifys me the most, more then the Bit Pulls is the lack of compassion for that poor helpless little dog when it happened!! What was more terrifying is how people could be so heartless and cold hearted to walk away and leave it there like that for 6hrs?!! Do you know how big chinese cities are? He isn't a vet, he can't do anything that might have worsened the dog's condition. You aren't allowed to doctor around heavily injured accident victims either. Tell me, how exactly could you have helped him better unless you're a vet?

I was once attacked by our pet Rottweiler and it was a horrible experience. Me and my Uncle went on a walk with Bruno, he was leashed and my uncle was holding it. Suddenly he attacked me and bit my forearm. I was shocked to see my pet attacking me. Bruno was very well trained and was with us since he was a puppy but still he left a hug mark on my forearm.

@Jodrul it's not dog's fault from my experience many dogs can end up this agressive if not treated well big dogs and especially these breeds need attention and affection that also goes for small breeds but these can cause more fatality
DAL3TH the pitbull breed was created for dog fighting rings and to kill bears and bulls for entertainment. It's in their DNA to attack and maim. No matter how much a few people will call them "soft" and "loving" there's always a chance they will act on their instinct just like a lion kept as a pet would.
Not just a pitbull, that applys to any dog. Pitbulls are just like any dogs and they are only as bad as the owner chooses to make them and unfortunately a lot of pitbulls recieve owners that are not responsible enough hence they become aggressive just like any other dog would.

Can't really judge the whole scene. He was holding 2 dogs that did not listen to him when he was trying to prevent the stray dog from being bitten. It wouldn't have been wise to approach the injured dog while holding the two. It wouldn't have been that easy to just tie the leash somewhere since they may injure someone or something else. I'm not saying he's a responsible owner but i wouldn't be too quick to say he is not.

My family’s from this part of China. There are many many stray dogs that wander around. A few of them become friends and groups up and plays together. They are seen as pest. Just saying.

They were on leash. Its just that the other dog was walking past but just a little too close. The pitbulls were able to grab him from that distance.

Valeria Ramirez Not what I was saying at all, I've met pits that are very well behaved and can walk without a leash however, If you know your big dog is aggressive, and territorial as stated in the video, you shouldn't let the dog run free. What if those dogs attacked a small child? They'd be put down, even small dogs can be like that, it depends on the dog and how the owner trained the dog. If you have even the slightest thought that your dog might attack, KEEP IT ON A LEASH. You can't hold them on a leash? Don't take them to public areas. I don't let my tiny chihuahua go on walks with out a HARNESS the idiot thinks she can go and fight the neighborhood rottie. (She'd be a snack for that behemoth, rottie (bud) weighs more than I do, sweet dog though! So I wasn't making a generalization of Pitbulls being mean or aggressive, it goes for any large dogs, smaller dogs can't do as much damage and can be controlled a bit easier, you can grab a small dog and pick it up with ease, Big dog that weighs almost if not more than you? Try picking it up in one hand. Honestly all dogs should be on leashes when in a public area, they are animals and they, like us, can get influenced by outside forces, it's better to have a dog on a leash then not have a dog at all because it bit someone.

Any owner with a powerful dog like this may need a license and go through training courses to ensure they can handle and tame their territorial dog properly.
Instinct is dictated by nature, not trainers. Training addresses surface behaviors, not genetic traits. A dog of any breed is still going to behave on their trait. Pitbull type breed's instinct is attacking & fighting to the death. Pitts live for game. They have no place in our society.
With that thought process it should be anybody with a dog. Which honestly probably wouldn’t be a bad thing. Less bites and attacks across the board.
