In this talk:
Jane shares a life changing story of a man whose breathing habits had been overlooked by the medical industry.
Her passion for breathing habit education shines through as she highlights 3 key issues with breathing habits.
Jane delves into:
Everything from mouth breathing and snoring to anxiety and stress
Issues with breathing restriction and noses feeling too small
Over-breathing habits and how they come about
Accessible science behind oxygenation & carbon dioxide tolerance
Misinterpretation of the terms ‘belly breathing’ and ‘take a deep breath’
Packing huge value, Jane guides us through her “3 spots of breathing” to make it simple to instantly apply better breathing habits, even during the talk.
Jane Tarrant works with individuals and companies to improve their performance, energy levels and quality of life. She runs popular masterclasses such as, “How To Recognise Your Current Breathing Habits”. Jane Tarrant is a passionate Breathing Habit Retrainer & Educator.
Aged 7, she realised her nose felt too small to breathe through properly. It took her 23 years to find out the importance of retraining her breathing habits, how to do it and the impact it would have. Realising that the lack of education around breathing habits is a major problem for adults and children today, she is on a mission to lead global education on healthy breathing habits & breathing retraining, in a simple, accessible way.
She has written the first educational storybook of its kind, Rose Loses Her Nose, educating both children and parents on healthy breathing habits through a fun storyline. • I was fortunate enough to have attended one of Jane's free masterclass, and since practicing her technics and wisdom, I've seen improvement with low blood pressure symptoms. Light headed symptoms nearly eradicated...... I'm still a working progress but I am able to easily follow Jane's advice and make these slight tweeks. I'm looking forward to saying bye, bye to the anxious upper chest breathing that has impacted my life dramatically. Thank you Jane. I hope your message is spread wide and far and the future we see this being taught in every school world wide. Good luck ✨🙏🏼✨

  • Love this. My nearly 3year old is a mouth breather and I'm always looking for ways to get her to nasal breathe. Had grommets put in and adenoids shrunk recently but she's still got the habit of breathing through her mouth. Will try the 'N' breathing and see if she's interested. 😅 Congrats on your TedX. Great achievement.

    • Such an important time to look at children's breathing. This is why I wrote my book for families, should you need a resource to get her to buy into the idea. I also recommend checking out Dr Steffen Decker - The Orthodontic Specialist in Amersham near London. They do free assessments for children for functional breathing, swallowing, chewing etc - looking at tongue and teeth etc. Thanks so much for watching and dropping a comment here!
