Islam is the BEST grappler and an ELITE striker in ufc. He's the most well rounded fighter we've ever seen so far and he will continue to prove it when he fights justin and Charles again

    • @@ashleyalexander7388obviously he was taught to and wanted to wrestle like how Khabib did to all his opponents but it’s a different game , he’s not Khabib and wrestling didn’t end up working, he had to find his own way to balance things out , that is why he is such a better stand up fighter than Khabib because he’s better at standing that Khabib is , basically he molded himself into being the champ he is today.!

  • That loss to Martinez only made him get better. He needed it early on and now is the most soundly defensive fighter on the roster. A true champion 🏆 he will fight anyone anywhere. He doesnt say no. Volk was his toughest opponent and jumped at the opportunity 👑 He just gets better and better!

  • Islam is nowhere the shadow of khabib. We know khabib is absolute monster in the game.his grit is unmatched and unparallelled. His power is insane. But, his standing game is boring not so stylish.but, islam is a complete package fighter.his punching accuracy, his style and kicks, ground game, grappling and chokes are absolute. Accept it or not he is the deserving p4p king. Definitely islam will move up to welterwight and he will be champ on that division as well. Then comes usman though banned for six months and will dominate with his perfect all round game. His kicks is spectacular.

  • His striking coach Magomedov and Seifullah who was coach for the russian national team in taekwondo has elevated his stand up game, ofc they are also blessed to have a talent like Makhachev who quickly adapted. Tremendous striker who picks his shots and capitalizes great in opponents mistakes, he is also the best grappler in the sport. Makhachev has to be the most well rounded fighter alongside DJ, GSP and Jones.

  • makhachev's goal was not to be compared with khabib , his goal was to defend the belt as many times he can, beat the best fighters out there and become the P4P number 1 fighter , which he already did. all the khabib and makhachev haters are turning it into makhachev vs khabib because they both beat the crap out of their fav fighters. so that they can feel good about themselves

  • It's worth noting that Islam himself said Chris Wade was his hardest fight in the UFC, as he really tired himself out trying to finish those sub attempts. It took some motivation from his coaches and Khabib to give him the energy in the later rounds
