He started in Phoenix in 1988 and is truly loved. I'm from AZ and he is a legend.
Will was on the edge of his seat waiting for an opportunity to grab another slice 😂
When they first offered him one I wasn't sure if he was just going to take one to be nice. But he mowed those fuckers down!!
I lived down the street from Tratto. This guy just does it all right and has from the start. And, in a place notorious for pissing through restaurants. Kudos to Jimmy for bringing him such exposure. He's going to slay it in L.A. He's not just the pizza guy...
That’s awesome that he called his mom, I bet that made her super happy. I live about 40 mins from downtown but because he seems like a very nice guy I’m going to take the family to his pizza shop as soon as the heat wave is over.
I would love to try it but I'm too lazy to drive to LA from Oceanside. haha.
Dude, Tratto is at 20th St. and Highland It's just East of the northbound 51. There's a "Highland" exit and it's just off it. It's in the "Town and Country Plaza". Easy to find and park, too. You gotta try his pies...
@@petecartwright5211 Thanks. You just answered the question I was going to ask, what's it called, and do I go left of right off of Highland, I'm guessing right?
On Friday 09/09 I watched his documentary on Netflix. I was so inspired, I decided to drive down to his location in LA on Saturday!!! I’m lucky enough to live 20 mins away. As I was walking, I locked eyes with an older man. We looked at each other for a few seconds. When we looked away (before it got awkward) I realized IT WAS HIM!!!!! I was fangirling so hard that I couldn’t get myself to call him back for a picture!!! I still can’t believe I crossed paths with this pizza legend!!!!! One thing I noticed and can’t seem to get over was the way he looked. Idk why but he looked very unhappy and tired. I think this is why I noticed this man at first. He could just have a serious case on RSF (resting sad face 😔). 🤷🏻♀️ Finally when I reached his restaurant @ 2pm, they were closing because they ran out of dough. The cashier told me that since Netflix, they’ve been selling out real early. I hope this isn’t connected to the way he looked but I honestly hope he’s ok. I just want to give this man a hug!
His passion is contagious. I told my one Portuagese Cafee owner to watch the Netflix doc, he opened a Pizza shop in it thanks to Chris. Kobus, South-Africa.
That pizza looks great. And his mom is sweet
Just finished watching the Netflix series. the man is a legend
7 minutes of suspense waiting to see if someone would pick those napkins up.
I made a drawing of Bianco and sold it to him in 2020! Very exciting to meet him and chat a bit. 💜
That was cute, bet his mom will love that she was on the air.
Guy's got the best tomatoes too. Legit.
Heirloom tomatoes.
Mushrooms as well 😍
Wow I'm surprised he isn't running the world with encouragement like that from his mom.
Chris Bianco is the coolest guy!!!
Phoenix-proud 😍
Chris is a true inspiration I’ve been making my own Pizzas since I watched the show
Went to the Grand Canyon 10 years ago - we arrived in Phoenix and had recently read up on “certified” wood oven pizzerias in the US, there are very few of them scattered around - we were excited to try one of these places and we figured we could visit Bianco and then make the drive north to the Canyon. We were shocked at how good the food was, esp since we come from the NY/NJ area… we ordered extra pizza and ate it for breakfast every day before our Grand Canyon hikes. The Rosa is as good as everyone says! (Just learned you can get this pizza shipped to your home anywhere in the US!)
Damn.. I need a mom in my life.... Any mom, but one like that would be amazing, I can't imagine. -Motherless dude
I should start a food bucket list
His episode is awesome on the Chef's Table documentary! I want to try his pizza.
Riquísimas sus 🍕 y una gran persona con un corazón de oro. Dios lo bendiga siempre 🙏
I would pay to see Chef Chris Bianco and Michael Rapaport have a conversation.
save me a seat
Jimmy!
Chris is a great Guy, who shared his passion for Pizza and traditional Italian Food.
Great group of guys. Will Arnett, Jimmy and THE MAN, Chris Bianco. Coupla studs.
Awh man 🥹🥹 I’m gonna go call my mom now
Congratulations to him. He’s got great food and definitely a part of what’s good I. Phoenix’s food scene.
Love this video it's great
"For those of you who are pizza nuts..." A pizza with nuts.
What a great show when he called his mom made me cry I talk to my son every day 💙
He does seem very nice. Just like a regular guy. Down to earth.
I met him today and these are all true!!!!
Yess
His mom is the first person on Kimmel who was too nice to prank.
Like everyone who grew up in & around one of the big cities in the northeast, I grew up eating real New York pizza. So no other “pizza” will ever compare. But as someone who first ate at Pizzeria Bianco in downtown Phoenix in the mid-90s, Chris’ pizza is the best example of that pizza I’ve ever had… and that includes the pizza I grew up on from New York. It really is that good.
Wow I remember when he first opened Pane Bianco here in Phoenix!!! 🎉
Love it!
Where are his other restaurants in Phoenix I live in the west side and of course they never put anything good over here
20th Street and Highland is the one close to me at Town & Country. Tratto is at 16th St. and Van Buren. The sandwich place is on Central.
Will stayed because he was hungry and he knew Chef Chris would bring some food. LOL
I've eaten at Bianco's in Phoenix. Good pizza.
Does anyone know the song at minute 19:40 on Chris Bianco Episode?
What is the Song name at the beggining?
Chef Chris sounds so much like Bobcat Goldthwait!
Best pizza in the world came from Phoenix, AZ. It might be one of the reasons why I’ll never move from here. His pizza in not comparable
Jimmy please have sorted food on your show. They are amazing.
Apollonias Pizzeria is the best I've tried in all of Los Angeles.
Ohh.. Jimmy... please don't quit. You're so special but I want to see Aunt Concetta. We miss her as well
That pizza doesn't look good
😆 Id have to agree… I’m sure it tastes much better than it looks, but then again, I don’t know if I’m crazy about the idea of pistachios on my pizza. Who knows though, it might be great!
It's totally good, seriously. A little bit of crunch.
Said the master pizzaiolo, 💩
