  • Seems strange that when talking about Bisping, his loss against Belfort and Bisping losing his right eye as a result of the KO kick from that fight wasn't mentioned. • A lot of fighters on this list definitely seem like they just needed time to develop and get experience/figure out how to optimize their training and game plan for top tier talent. I think UFC fetishizes talent understandably it's instantly impressive, and easily marketable, but I think MMA fans are willing to buy into a comeback story as well. Like just increase cutting to fighters to six fights and make that part of the narrative of fights people will pay attention when a guy starts proving people wrong.

    • To be fair to Oliveira, when the time came to fight for the belt he was favoured to win and he won despite facing early adversity by Michael Chandler. All the other guys and girls were counted out when they eventually had to fight for the belt, including Moreno who many believed would be destroyed in the rematch by Figgy.

  • True story Caree Mofhitz-Paugh who ran Kikskin MMA gear along with her Brother Scott told me that Serra would KO GSP. We bet a tin of Tim Hortons coffee in it .... Up to this day I'm shocked. And understand when she made the prediction she was 100% utterly serious. She just told me she knew how the fight is going to end. And Serra is going to shock the world.

  • Forrest is so underrated by new fans and his haters. I’ll admit I’m a huge fan so I’m biased but the dude was tough! People like to lazer focus on his losses to Silva, Jardine and Evans But don’t give him credit for his wins. Say what you want about Forrest but he was tough and very well rounded. He retired with wins over Rich Franklin, Shogun Rua, Chael Sonnen, Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz. Give the man his props.
