We need to give Chandler more credit for how he has handled this. He’s been patient and never complained about how long it took for a fight announcement. He doesn’t complain about the weight or Conor’s shenanigans. He deserves this fight and the payday that comes with it. Can’t wait.

Why is there so much criticism directed at Chandler? It's truly surprising how some people want to deny him the opportunity to fight conor. There are fighters who compete only once a year, so waiting a bit longer to face the biggest star in UFC history i think is okay.

June 29th lol This fight has been on the cards for some time already Conor ain't in any rush to get back in the octagon.
Conor announcing it's at 185 suggests he doesn't want to commit to a full camp as he did in the past. These two guys are optimal at 145-155, so they'll both likely to be slow, bloated and gas out.
Have you seem Connor brother? Literally 0% chance he could make 145. Probably about 20% of making 155 at the moment.
When fighting at LW, Chandler's rehydrated weight on fight night has been over 180 lbs, probably right around 185. He's just not having to do the weight cut.

How much does Chandler think he's gonna make IF this fight even happens? Conor will take such a large slice and the numbers won't be what they were if Conor didn't stall for a year so Chandler is at the point of sunk losses and should just move on.
I get where you’re coming from, but it’s not that simple. There aren’t traditional “sunk costs”, in the sense that yes, he could have taken a different fight and already fought, but each fight could be your last. It’s a dangerous sport, injuries happen all the time. So you have to consider the trade off. Waiting to fight Conor is likely worth it for the bigger payday / better exposure, despite having to sit out a while. Maybe the rest is good for him, he’s older, been in a lot of fights, maybe this time off will benefit Chandler
