  • First I would like to say that this movie isn't for everyone. It is for people like me who love to observe human behavior. I worked in Mental Health and I am interested in the way people think. This couple both are damaged and serve a purpose for each other. Their need for each other suffocates them. Their need for recognition from others disable them. They are both so angry at not only each other, but their struggles at what they have had to endure and continue to do so. The acting was extraordinary. Both Washington and Zendaya BROUGHT it. They owned their parts. Dialogue was riveting. Deep emotions came forth. I personally would give it a 9/10 and would highly recommend it to those that I know would appreciate it like I did. Couples fight... yes, but this couple go for the jugular. Both deserve an Academy Award for their realist portrayals.
