    • Actually its for the album cover. Historically black artists in the 50s and early 60s had vague covers without their faces so companies could sell their products in white areas. Bobby's album was just the silouhette to sell in black communities because he sounded black but was white. A good example is Nat King Cole, he sings like a white guy (of the time), but is black.

    • I think that was the case too with me.....because it was either the same day or the day before his passing this song was in my head.....it's one of my absolute faves but something hit different that day. Today (first day of Spring 2023) I heard the song for the first time all the way through since his passing......tears was slowly rolling down my face.....he left us with timeless music....
