I really need to graduate from the donut and tea cup if I wanna scale up to these studios. God dayum the detail in every single poly and vertex is incredible. I really wish I had a dedicated model maker to make this a reality, this CGI as well as Fallout is so on another level.

omg, what a waste covering by heavy fog, the vfx artist is pissing off
it's not a waste actually, they need to make the background areas detailed even if it is blurred or else it won't sell the realism. Also, they reuse the same assets in multiple scenes(models, textures, plants, buildings, etc) where they might use the same assets in the foreground in some cases.
@@popthiccle1158 i work vfx before and is painfully seeing nothing by covering fog. you may think oh looks cool but no idea how detail they make from the back
Man, just look at all roto work just because they somehow thought filming without chroma would be ok...
