Final sequence from 1933 King Kong film mixed up with the soundtrack of the remake made in 2005 by Peter Jackson, composed by James Newton Howard.
This experience tries to verify the evolution of the music composed for cinema since the invention of the first score done specially for a movie,as it is the case of King Kong's soundtrack composed by the music master Max Steiner.
7:16 Iconic.
King Kong’s facial expressions (especially his smile) in the 1933 version always crack me up!
Fay Wray was so beautiful. The first scream queen of motion pictures.
The 1933 original is one of my all time favorite movies.
x2
this has been badly edited.
Me too
Ahhhhh the 1930s, when everything was done in black & white and when it came to movies like this it would be all stop motion and the same scene going over & over, how nice it must've been.
it's sad when kong dies he did not mean to hurt anyone all he wanted was ann cause of her beauty he loved her beauty thats all he wanted twas beauty that killed the beast twas the beast that wanted the beast they wanted to be together but it wasn't meant cause the beast loved love her so much that he died for her and their love would stay strong i thank you all would agree with me when i say this stay strong for your love
The Jurassic park of his time, a Master piece
Ian Malcolm: “What do they got in there, King Kong?”
It seems to me that it`s just like a miracle such awesome SFX was possible in 1933 when even my mother was not born yet.
This isn’t the actual sound
@@jessicasmith-lc2nwyes is the sound real
@@matiassolartepena4672 it from the 2005 Peter Jackson not the 1933 one
The 1933 version and the 2005 version were great!
1976 was the best.
+SueSnellLives! No way! That version didn't have any Dinosaurs! Only a giant snake which was stupid to not have any Dinosaurs.
yes i agree ,, i was grow up with the king kong ( 1976) and is the best
+paul “hermaphrodite” ibarra The 1976 version wasn't that good. There were no Dinosaurs! 😱
+paul “hermaphrodite” ibarra I agree I love King Kong (1976)
Poor Kong the good guy's always get him.
The colorizing of black and white movies have gotten a lot better, but most of the colors still look cheap and not natural. Some movies just look better in black and white. This is one of them. Plus this music doesn't give it the same meaning as the original score. Get the Bluray version. You won't regret it.
I would aprecciate if you consider this video in a positive or a negative way in order to perceive what's wrong, right...Thanks!
Omg
that was not even an eveloition thst was just editing color to the original movie half of it
This is awesome. The colorization is nice just for this one video, and the 2005 composition works fantastically.
BRUUUHHHH this is the final part at movie at 33 see in HBOMAX o gonna see :)
This might seem a bit strange but the first time I saw King Kong on TV I couldn't help but wonder why so many men had to die just to save one woman!
Said it ahahhaaha
You did an amazing job on colorizing the black and white
Thanks for such a beautiful video I have watched it over 100 times snd continue to watch it I think it is so amazing and thank you for making it.
Funny thing I was born exactly a month before peter Jackson’s King Kong was released into theaters.
I always liked King Kong. It was and still is, a great metaphor for frustrated male-hood, (i.e. wanting the girl who doesn't want you in return).
Should do the same work on fights these T-Rex with that intense theme song
I only saw the 1976 version as a kid didn't even know the 2005 one was created and I was a kid at that time hah.
Michael Jackson same for me😂😂
The Nation same for me as well
Well believe saw 1933 previw interview then 2005 one, probably saw the kong kong 1974 but not sl sure 2005 even in this video.
Wow, great improvement on a classic!
@RnDnproductions Hi!! this video has the music of the new King Kong film, composed by James Newton Howard for Peter Jacskson. The original one is composed by Max Steiner and you con hear it writting: Secuencia Original King Kong 1933. : D
4:20 Notice The Force of the plane pulling down Kong from the roof from the Empire State Building for the breif moment
i like thisi love 33 version, and the combination with new film works!
Mais alguem ficou com pena do kong?!?!?!😔😔😔😔
Eu😢
Me 😔😔 l don’t like when Ann is doing nothing 😢
I prefer watching this movie in black and white, its way better :D
Saludos
It's like King Kong 2005 and king Kong 1935 are similar then there's Kong skull island and king Kong 1976
QQ qáq se s
this death of kong was not sad for me, on the other hand, the one of 2005 was very sad his death to the point of tears a little
The first Kong movie was the best. It also made the most sense. It was best because it was a great metaphor about a guy chasing something he could never achieve, the girl of his dreams who didn't love him.
Excelente trabajo. Partitura fenomenal.
I’ve been searching for this video for a while now
I seem to like this scene a lot better with the original music, but you did a good job with the editting.
"Sounds like Kong". Chunk
aw,kong was crying.give him some space plz😭😞
He’s dead.
King King dead blood color RED 1 = like to goodbye to King Kong :(
Beautifully done!!!!! Bravo!
The thing I hate of the original compared to the 2005 version is that Ann does not give a shit about Kong. There is no real connection between beauty and beast which makes the movie black and white and un emotional. It is a classic which I love but I prefer the 2005 version that was THE King Kong.
everyones entitled to their own opinion Sith...But yours is gay.
Mike Farley His opinion is cheerful and carefree?
The only reason why there is a king kong why you love king kong and why there was a ride in universal on king kong and why theres merchandise on king kong IS BECAUSE OF THE ORIGINAL!!!!! you wouldnt have a king kong if it werent for the original
Mike Farley Mike KK without Steiners score is a nothingness
The point of King Kong is that Kong wanted Ann to like him back, but she never did, ultimately making the story more tragic for Kong. Plus that is what the final line "It was beauty killed the beast" refers to
They shouldve put him back in skull island
E/
This hapless colorized versions lacks it all and its reason for being.. Max Steiner's ultimate score , its here that Steiner shows what a score can do for a spectrum of emotions CP
Honestly, hearing the soundtrack and seeing the story, I really wanna cry
Not bad for a movie that is almost 90 years old
Its because she's hot. If Kong had taken away Phyllis Diller, the crew would have just said, 'oh well, she knew it was a dangerous job. Lets play it safe and wait until the next sacrifice, we'll get a few film shots and head back to NY'
😂😂😂😂
You can find ir in my channel under the name: Secuencia Original King Kong 1933 Sorry for the delay!
king kong and color!!
That looks good bro
Keep up the good work.

Where can I find this version in color, in English? Some may not like it, I think it's great

stop motion king kong
You put the 1976 king kong roar on this video lol.😎
It certainly improves the quality of the film, but I think you could have been more daring with the use of colour? Using the sort of colour like they used in Robin Hood!
I LOVE IT!
2023 K.K. is 90 yrs. old. May He R.I.P.
@darthzach Yes! you're right!
Wtf, where is 2005 film.
What are you talking about?
+*Cancer Itself185* Read the title of the video. Pretty vague and leads to false expectations.
@@TechnologicallyTechnical Sorry for the late reply, but if you watch the video, clearly the intent was to combine the two, by adding the 2005 audio.
One of the Saddest Endings of any Movie ever. 😢
holy crap they had the 1933 version in color!?!?
Yes
4:20 IN YOUR FACE !!!

GENIAL ¿ESTA EN ESPAÑOL O INGLES?
Wait the movie's called King Kong? I only saw it once on TV and I thought it was a prequel to Precious.
6 years later and no one lol'd to this?? 😂😂
Juste magnifique
Where is Max Steiner's musical score???
make a updated version with kong 2017 and kong 2021
@ 6:30 isnt that the empire state building on the left? i could be wrong
Remaster 😎🔥
It's the theme of 2005, now I get it
Exelente
King Kong:sorry my girlfriend I cannot help you I’ll never miss you....g...good bye... ???:NO!!! Kong....KONG!!!* King Kong falls from tower *.
strange... the video title SAYS it kind kong- 1933-2005... yet all I saw was 1933... not a very good comparison with just one example.
has una de godzilla 1954-2014 por favooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor?
EVERY time Kong starts to weaken the tears well up in my eyes. Every time.
KING KONG 1933-2017
AWESOME
Is it remastered in color?
2:42 that green screen
and 2:56
i think it's a giant tv, i dont really know
It's map painting I believe
Green Screen? There is no green screen

I swear if the monsterverse kong meets the same fate with him being killed off I’m going to lose it! I’ve always and forever will hate the fact they kill kong off when they are the true villains
Maravilhoso...
2 remakes?
How did you get the movie in color?
KING KONG THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD
the 1933 movie sould had stayed in B/W
I have to agree. I saw some of the colorized version and it just didn't look right. Everything was more realistic in the original black and white.
rip kign kogn
4:22 the plane crashes 😪
Princess Olivia and Jose carioca are falling in love and best friends forever and ever
The scene of the 2005 version has more heart, because Ann was in love of Kong. The Ann of the 1933 version only scream.
El pepe tell me which is more realistic?
@@goodsuc81 It's a movie, asshole!
@@elpepe4445 King Kong was a bad guy in 1933 and people were glad he was dead. King Kong in the 1933 version he stomped on a man who done nothing wrong.
That makes it more tragic
The screams and a bit of kong's roar were from the 1976 film.
was that music in the original movie?
Could you use the original black and white 1933 scene?
The colour on 1933 kong looks so wrong
RTE Edits I think he knows that.
@@guardianevan8406 how do you know that when black and white was all that was available back then?
@@guardianevan8406 I see what you mean and I agree with you. I mean if color was available back then it probably would have been in color, maybe not though (night of the living dead was black and white even though color was available.) For example, can you imagine the original Godzilla with color? It would look so wrong. I see exactly what you're saying. EDIT: I did research and Godzilla did get colorized by some youtubers, and it doesnt look very good, not as the artist intended as you said
YOUR ALL JUST FAKING
King Kong 1933-2005 you didn't even show the King Kong 2005
I wanted to see this movie.
