Final sequence from 1933 King Kong film mixed up with the soundtrack of the remake made in 2005 by Peter Jackson, composed by James Newton Howard.
This experience tries to verify the evolution of the music composed for cinema since the invention of the first score done specially for a movie,as it is the case of King Kong's soundtrack composed by the music master Max Steiner.

  • The colorizing of black and white movies have gotten a lot better, but most of the colors still look cheap and not natural. Some movies just look better in black and white. This is one of them. Plus this music doesn't give it the same meaning as the original score. Get the Bluray version. You won't regret it.

There is no real connection between beauty and beast which makes the movie black and white and un emotional. It is a classic which I love but I prefer the 2005 version that was THE King Kong.
