    • It's also a really funny reminder of just how much Kong's size and power has varied, since you have two or three different incarnations of Godzilla, some lesser kaiju like Gorosaurus, and a hundred-meter evil Kong, teaming up with some slightly altered T-rexes, an anaconda not far off from some actual prehistoric life, and a regular biplane.

  • Legendary's Kong has definitely made a special place in our hearts, I think the fact that he is so "human", his protective and heroic instinct, the affection he can show to humans and how he always gets up again no matter how much he gets knocked down makes him my favorite. King Kong from 2005 is probably the best movie, but Legendary's Kong is my favorite King Kong.

Expert model and suit work, no CGI required, and he was so expressive and lively because there were real human eyes under that mask (granted, with contact lenses on to make them more ape-like).

  • I commented on it already but I'll say it again with this video and a previous one that was the same kind of video of a size comparison of all the Kongs the ending is my favorite part with all the Kongs hanging from the sides of the Empire State Building great work to the guys who made this.

  • I love all the King Kong comparisons but I'm going to be straight honest and forward with you my favorite King Kong of all time is the 1976 one because I feel like it stood out way more further than all the rest with his roar unlike anything you've ever heard of or seen it's just straight awesome and his costume and scary look persona is badass

    • When I was 3 1976 King Kong was my first trip with mom and dad to the movie theater to see my first non Disney animated film and it was 1976 King Kong. I fell in love with the giant ale from that day forward and it was the start of my lifelong obsession with monsters and horror and adventures. The next year Dad would take me to a 1977 film called Star Wars. Kong, Star Wars, incredible Hulk tv show, Six Million Dollar Man, Wonder woman, 1977/78 Spider man tv show, Dukes of Hazzard, Marvel and DC comic books......my childhood was magic.

  • This is so damn cool! The essence of each Kong was captured so well! It was a thrill to see them all as they appeared, not to mention all the other creatures! I can't possibly pick a favourite, as I love them all so much, but 33, 76 and 2005 seem to always be near the top of my list as to which one I'm appreciating the most at the moment. Absolutely phenomenal job! :)
