  • So much respect for Dana White. I ran into him at one of the Megaclubs in Las Vegas maybe 9 or 10 years ago when the UFC had already found massive success. Told him how I am a local DJ but have been a diehard fan since that first season of Ultimate Fighter. He let me come to his VIP table and pour a drink from his bottle and we chatted for a few minutes. He thanked me as a fan and then I realized that his security was going to do their jobs and tell me to keep it pushin'. So I read the room and moved along before it got awkward. Either way that is way more than I would expect from any public figure or celebrity in that situation. Dude keeps receipts whether that is supporting their vision with the UFC or working against him. I'm grateful for his hard work and so many amazing memories of great fights.

    • cool how you knew when to split, most do not. Special moment. I had one with Garth Brooks when he was a mega-success, and he gave me a few moments but the room started to fill up and I asked for a pic and then split. Funny, I was also a local DJ at a country-western club and told him so it gave me some cred. Celebs arent bad people, but they have so many fans and so much to deal with but these moments do happen and its always awesome when they do, just know when to say when and you did!

    • Oh my, you just described Woke! Is White into that "Q" BS? And White says Trump is a Squared away guy? So White is ok with Serial Liars who have 18 Sexual Misconduct Suits he has settled with at least One that's with a 16 year old female, how many Bankruptcy's ? Six? How many of his Cabinet members and Administration Officials now have a Criminal Records for carrying out DJ Trump's orders? 11 How many Attorneys who worked for Trump have been Sanctioned or Disbarred? 18 for following Trump's orders! That's 29 Professional people who got into trouble with the law for listening to Trump! And I'll bet many of you are saying, even screaming by now that Trump is losing ground as fast as Putin! All those people are anti Labor and all of them despise Labor that say: Living Wage! Fast Fact; from late 1930's until the 1970's held 2/3'rds of the World's Gold Billions. Until the series of Billionaires tax cuts pushed by Republicans falsely claiming our collected revenue would rise considerably, paying for the Revenue cut plus much more! Trump Lied (Surprise Surprise, the Fat Man Lied!) Having super wealthy people in our Country does not make us a wealthy Country especially when those wealthy Elites, I'm referring to the Moochie Republican Billionaires. When we have a large Middle Class that not only pays a lot in income taxes, but they engage with the economy at its core level. When you have a large Middle Class that has good income they will spend a lot, fairly new cars as well as hobbies that Poor "middle classers" like we currently have just do not have the money for hobbies, new cars and that new pool y'all have saved for for so long they struggle to just cover the Billionaire created Inflation. Listen, if we have inflation but at the same time we have Billionaires reporting record breaking Profits, RECORD BREAKING PROFITS! So how do we get back to the beautiful Economy we had when we taxed the Wealthy and Paid or Working Class Workers a living Wage! BTW, that term is considered A Socialist indicator/Identifier; A Living wage!

Insightful questions, allowing Dana to fully speak, and simply interjecting to move along or focus the interview are all things proper journalists should endeavor to do.

  • This is the best Dana White interview I think. Big Boy asked the right questions at a perfect pace to get them all answered which such detail. The excitement and passion in Dana white as he's telling his come up story is credited to Big Boys real admiration for him and genuine real interest in his life and sport and I can tell Dana White respects and appreciates him and considers him a friend by the way he opened up in this interview. The fact that power slaps ratings did better than the NHL and NBA when airing at the same time is nuts. I think I might look into seeing what it takes to go pro cause it seems like these guys will make millions per competition very soon when this becomes a major sport. I have some experience, I've been getting slapped through my whole marriage I just need to work on my slapping skills when I start training cause its been a while but defensively im pretty good.
