Please get your brother to upload more on his channel! He would have an amazing channel with his singing and insights into the broadway/musical theater world. Would love more collab videos with you two singing and playing. As a fellow musician, I don't like too much to say "talented" because talent is maybe only 10% of it. You both have studied and perfected your crafts through years of intentional practice and dedication and it definitely shows.
Of course your duet sounded amazing, you had 400 years to practice…
It is not just that… family often have the same kind of resonance within their voice. It is much harder to find someone outside your family to have that extra “oomph” when harmonizing.
I'm sure his answer of 400 years of practice was a viable observation, thank you for adding that extra explanation, it really helped us.

For me it was the inflection and rhythm in his voice at the beginning, it felt sorta forced in comparison to Brandon's more natural feel. This was definitely fun though!

Some families hoard all the talent the rest of us is missing, lol. I'm friends with one of those crazy talented families: the father was an amazing painter, great poet and a phenomenal philosofer with some of the most interesting ideas I have ever read; his wife is a stupendous classical singer; their son is a great singer too and also a composer and a multi instrumentalist; their daughter can also sing but she's mainly a world class children's book writer and illustrator (she even won the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award which is almost a Nobel for children's literature). If all of that wouldn't have been enough, the daughter married one of the greatest playwright (THE greatest imo) this country has produced. Amazing.

Me and my twin watched this together and honestly this was hilarious, we both play both guitar and piano and the oud, we specially related to the competition aspect of it and just how you both got along in general, we too always get asked if we ever switched places, and honestly we have yet to do it well but one day we can get the day like this video hahaha.hopefully we both have such a close relationship like you 2 do at your age, truly an inspiration :D.
I have to admit, as a classically trained Coloratura, that Brian has an absolutely Stunning tenor range - and while Brandon might not be a classically trained Singer, you've still got an exceptional Baritone. I never managed to learn to play any instruments well - though I did attempt to learn Guitar, Banjo, and Piano. Never managed to build up good calluses for plucked, and my hands are too small (short fingers lol) to make a full octave on the keyboard without causing pain. Both of you are absolutely consummate artists - Bravo. edit: I absolutely refuse to try and decide which of you is "better looking" - you're both easy on these old eyes!

Brian looks like if Brandon were in one of those movies where a nerdy guy takes a pill or finds a spell that turns him into a more confident, slightly more jacked dude who doesn't need his glasses and immediately becomes a bit of a jerk when the newfound popularity goes directly to his head.
Hm. That's oddly accurate. You do get the notion that one is more introverted and the other extroverted. But you have to discount the fact that Brandon actually seems to have plenty of charm, confidence and charisma of his own and Brian's personality seems to be actually great, lol. But there's definitely a classic nerd and jock vibe going on between these two. From the looks of them alone, you'd think one would be a scientist and the other a high school sports celebrity turned wall street trader who don't look like they'd get along, and not insanely talented classically trained musicians who not only have a great rship with one another as both friends and bros but actually helped drive one another to be where they each are today. It's both so wholesome (though in a realistic sorta way) and sonically pleasing. It's stuff like this that reminds me of the fact that despite all its shortcomings, KZhead is a great platform to find incredibly high-quality media. And why I watch vids on it (and other streaming sites) and hardly watch TV now. Also, talk about incredibly good genes.
