I’m a Christian teenager, I’m not that much familiar with politics. But in the recent months & times, Christian community all over India have been facing a lot of threats and attacks from Hindu community specifically. I don’t wanna defame or disrespect people of any religion. I totally respect Hinduism & our culture & the great teachings of it. But in all these attacks, it seems that some people of the community are so insecure about their religion, as Dhruv rightly mentioned. They can’t tolerate if people of their communities attend churches, and then they falsely accuse churches & pastors for religion conversions. Thanks to the fractured law and order of the country, over hundreds of religious leader and pastors have been jailed, without any hearing in court. There have been Christian protests in some cities, but no one in the media has talked about it and have given it any coverage. It has been tried to cover those things in the fog. I hope true democracy resurrects in India, and there is peace(ful) (accommodation) of all the communities, as our leaders envisioned. Let growth & development be the main priority, not propagandas and manipulations based on religions & faith of thousands and lakhs of innocent people, who can get easily influenced by such acts. Hi Akash I have been watching you since past few months now I really respect your efforts and the work your are doing to save our hard fought democracy from collapsing into dictatorship. While I am also trying to do the same at my level I have seen a lot of people misleading a lot of crowd by Palki sharmas Oxford debate video. People are thinking holy shit we are doing this good during this period. I think they need to know that it’s debate video and she lost it by 3-2 and of course modi and amit shah would have listened to her speech before for sure. I mean they approved it. 😁 so isn’t it a better idea to make a video about it where we talk about how that debate went, how was your experience and who are the other people who talked in it. I am a silent spectator despite seeing and knowing what is happening as I am a Christian and on the target of the ruling dispensation. We as a community know how to forgive, even those who, crucified my Lord Jesus Christ. 'Forgive them for they do not what they do' were the words JESUS said for those who crucified him. We are a minority and I being born in Mumbai have seen all the communal riots. I have seen Ajmal kasab firing at VT station and God knows why I still am alive. God keeps his own. Time will tell. Even with the the evm manipulation, if this dispensation comes to power, our community will teach peace , tolerance, forgiveness and humility. Sir, in Mumbai, when my wife and I were in the petrol filling station, I used some unwaranted words which I have not used for the last 40 years. Today my my wife saved me from breaking a bhakt nose, in public. Sir I have never been in a pilice station but, times have been boiling for very long and it is very unfortunate. at this time of writing, i believe, i have not forgiving such people even if I go to hell. You inspire many such, unworthy people, such as me, but Sir, we believe in prayer and penance, which for you will go a long way, which me and my community pray for. According to the study, Pakistan witnessed an increase of 3.75% in the share of the majority religious denomination (Hanafi Muslim) and a 10% increase in the share of the total Muslim population despite the creation of Bangladesh in 1971. Pertinent to note that while Muslims’ share increased by 10%, the study registers the rise of Pakistan’s majority as 3.75% as Hanafi Muslims constitute the majority ID in Pakistan, as per the study. However, Hindus’ decline by 7.8% in India is the second most significant decline in the immediate neighbourhood, just after Myanmar’s 10%. Myanmar saw the highest decline in the majority community’s share in the overall population of the country. In Myanmar, the majority population of Theravada Buddhists declined by 10% in 65 years. According to the study, just like India, Nepal’s majority community (Hindus) saw a 3.6% decline in its share of the country’s population. India’s neighbours with a majority Buddhist population, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, also saw an increase of 17.6% and 5.25%, respectively. However, in the Maldives, the share of the majority group (Shafi’i Sunnis) declined by 1.47%, as per the study by PM’s EAC.
