My guess on why Eternal+Rage didn't work as well on the 2nd layout was 1. Randomness of pathing and 2. The town hall on 1st layout was mostly there for the giga bomb since it wasn't activated until the troops were right next to it. I personally have been using both books with Lalo and Dragon Riders with decent success unlike the classic abilities and Eternal+Rage.
I agree. This is part of the natural variability that will always be a part of the game. It surprised me for sure, though.

I've found that the rage gem works well with my dragons after doing a SArch blimp. Because I use almost all my spells on the blimp, having that rage on the dragons the entire time the warden is up seems to be strong.
I have seen this too. Gives them the speed to move through the base, and that has them take less damage. The life gem would only give them 750 more HP, which is good, but not AMAZING.

@@trampledamage Rage gem doesn't affect speed, just damage. If it affected speed too, it would be awesome!
@@micker9830it affects speed in the sense that they finish off buildings and defenses quicker
I am using the eternal tome since its so good and then im saving up resources for when the epic equipment comes out in 2-3 months.

I have seen them used very successfully with the rage gem.
I've been using the heal tome with my root/valk army to awesome results...now y'all got me second-guessing to swap it out and use rage gem 🤯😵💫🫨lol
@@patrickkile1940 opposite here- I've been using rage gem but clanmates are saying heal is better. I think when paired with eternal tome the 2 are very close to each other.
Witches are only for distraction? Try dropping guided rage spells on skeletons from 8+ witches 😃😂

What about super bowlers? I carry 4 rages so which combination is best, Eternal tome with healing tome or life gem?

Don't u think that apprentice warden cam boost the hp of super hog quite a bit ofc not as good as life gem and i think that u can always get rage spells foe hog riders for the extra damage and go with healing and eternal tome cuz it's better imo
I can’t figure out rage or healing for warden so just got them both to 12 but want to know which one should go to 18

Using an apprentice really makes the life gem irrelevant regardless even if the other equipment doesnt make it on their own
