    • Heyman was the first guy, and there is a very long story about this, but he literally said “how about I give guys a mic and let them say whatever they want”. He started by making Mic Foley a straight star with his shoots. But it was also aligned with ECW. Like they would shoot outside the arena and just talk about the show. And don’t forget about Raven. If you don’t know why he was so goo, watch his promos from the beginning.

    @tad16@tad164 ай бұрын
    • They did end up having a back stage fight, although everyone describes it as more of a hair pulling match lol. Bret has said that him and Shawn were friends for a long time and that their rivalry was something they both were creating together. They wanted their rivalry to feel so real that even the boys in the locker thought it was real. Eventually the lines became so blurred that it became real. This is the definition of being worked into a shoot.

  • I can see Rock and HHH doing a great job in creative writing together. Both guys spent a tremendous amount of time crafting good story telling and match making during the attitude era and Hollywood respectively. I don’t see their ideas differing that drastically from each other. There will be compromises but that’s a given when we talk about a multi billion dollar operation.

  • Say what you want about CM Punk but he's had PLENTY of memorable promos besides the "pipe bomb." He was on a rampage in 2011. Everything from the things he said, who he said it to and the timing of his retorts were all golden. Dude was an absolute menace who gave 0 fucks and I'm sure he made other superstars want to legit hit him in his mouth. He's just a god tier ass hole who habitually crossed lines 😂😂😂
