Audi RS7 Review! Better Than a Hellcat?

2021 ж. 16 Қаң.

The Audi RS7 is a twin turbo V8 MONSTER of a car. With four doors, a nasty engine sound, and luxurious interior it's hard to find anything "wrong" with the Audi RS7. This full bolt on RS7 makes over 600HP to all four wheels and is a force to be reckoned with. So what makes this an all wheel drive Hellcat? Let's go for a drive and find out!

    • "pioneered future designs for other brands". You couldn't be more wrong, Mercedes designed and pioneered the four door coupé since 2005 when they introduced the first gen Mercedes CLS. Audi didn't come out with the A7 until 2010. I still have two first gen Mercedes cls63's and I get complimented in both of them literally every time I drive either. Remember Mercedes lead the race in car innovation. After the cls, it was the Volkswagen CC, then the Porsche Panamera, then the A7, then Bmw came out with their grand coupes and so on so fourth.

I do agree with him that the R8 is a relatively tame car, I had a 2014 Suzuka Grey V10 and the car was pretty sedate most the time unless you wring it out to 5000+ revs with the sport mode on, otherwise you can barely hear the exhaust. I’m eyeballing the RS7 for my next daily driver, it’s an R8 for the whole family 😂. Heck, it even has more trunk space than my wife’s GLC (25 ft3 vs 20 ft3)

  • The RS6 Avant has been one of my dream cars. Next to a Stagea with a R34 front end. ... but money is tight so I drive a SG Forester STI. Not close.... but fun for y current budget.

    • I actually I like the stagea and the forester more than the rs6. The forester can be made a lot more fun than the rs6 with some interior and engine mods. The stagea is the coolest looking of them all.

  • I purchased an 01 Audi A4 because I wanted a cheap turbo 5 speed and I got it for $800. After I put a bunch of money and work into the car, it's now my daily and I love it! I loved it so much I went and got my wife a 2014 Audi A4 Quattro. Both are only a turbo 4 cylinder (stage 2 tune) and they are the same, they just want to rip! The RS models are currently out of my price range but one day they will be obtainable!

  • I had a 96 S600 years ago, it was a 6L NA V12, before Benz stuffed monster V8s and turbos under the hood. It was a glorious, giant, fast (for a 96) sedan. I remember tearing down M39/Southfield Freeway here in Detroit, side-by-side with a C5 Vette one night doing 150. That car handled so welll for its size and weight. Never underestimate a 4-door sedan.

  • If I ever get rid of my 2016 S6, it will be because the next step is the rs7 or the new 2020 rs6. GMP Performance right there in Charlotte tuned my S6. APR stage 2, APR downpipes, 100 octane. 600+ ft/lb of torque at 2800 rpm.

  • Car is truly a masterpice. I have a '13 S6 tuned to 550hp and it still turns heads 9 years later. Not quite as quick as an RS (especially a modded one) but it's got 10X the luxury and creature comforts of a Hellcat. On paper, it's got the same 0-60 as a Hellcat of the same year, but unlike the quick Hellcat, I can pass a gas station. Like you, if I had to own 1 car It would be an S/RS 6 or 7. My S6 is the best car I've ever sat in, bar none!
