Yes I think you are most certainly right there which is part of the problem; drive for 6 hours in a new E Class with foam filled seats then do the same in the 124 and you will realise the inherent quality is not the same though. I can't imagine many people will want a 30 year old 2019 model in 30 years time as it won't have the same legend, then there's the issue that all of the electronic stuff will have long given up the ghost.

@ Malcolm Lane-Ley, my sentiments exactly! Every time I drive my '92 W124 230E (215k kms) I tell my wife MB could've continued building the W124, but with the old engines that were used up to '95, after that the engine quality and durability went downhill.

Была реальная машина W124 , нет надо было сделать это Корыто . Шумоизоляция плоха , жестокость кузова отвратительна , что дальше ???? Так ещё оно ржавеет как жигули !!!!
