@@louduva9849 Soro is a top10 at 154 since a half decade, competitive with every champion and he was wba #1, waiting since early 2020 to get the mandatory status for the WBA fight hold by Erislandy Lara but Laras side decides to fight a Soro Leftover "Greg Vendetti" cause they knew the risk .
Madrimov proved he's at the top level here. That said, Soro gets a lot of unfair stick IMO. I don't understand it. The man fights and takes on the best. His losses and the draw were very close affairs, arguably unfair to Soro as these things go. I thought he beat Antoine Douglas in the US. Baysangurov I'd have to watch again, but Soro put him on the canvas early. I think Brian Castano got the SD in Paris because he was then an unknown who proved to be dynamite fighter, but their fight looks like a draw to me. Though I don't think the draw with Charlo robbed Castano, I do think Soro looked a little better against the Argentine. I had Madrimov ahead, but no way was I counting Soro out even in Tashkent.

@@musasalijanov8225 Absolutely see your point and agree to certain degree, however, It has been the case in the past where punching after the bell has resulted in a disqualification, on some occasions when the offender was clearly winning the fight. I’m sorry, but that’s why rules and regulations are in place. Do you see what I’m saying? I did in fact start off my first comment with ‘Soro was clearly losing….’ At the end of the day, the round ended yet another 7 damaging punches were thrown and landed after the bell had sounded. A no contest would be generous in my opinion It could well have been a disqualification

Many people say that "referee, made decisions, or made a mistake in favor of Madrimov." And I think the opposite. If referee would have stopped the round after the gong, still in the 10th round, Israel would have finished off Soro. And even if the fight lasted until round 12. All the same, Israel would have won the fight with the decisions of the judges. Soro is already tired after 8. If the result of the fight is canceled, the referee's gross mistake will be a minus for Madrimov. Madrimov is the best....

People saying it’s not Madrimovs fault but he should’ve been clearly able to hear the bell ring and also would’ve heard the last ten second warning preparing to end the round. There’s no excuse for him No contest should be placed

I don’t think Madrimov is the kinda guy to lose control and keep throwing heaps after the bell, I genuinely don’t think he heard it. Then it’s on the referee to keep both fighters safe, which he didn’t.

I am a new fan of boxing. And I have a question for knowledgeable fans. Are boxers allowed to throw punches after the bell rings to indicate the round end. Please some one answer my doubt.
As Floyd complained about old judges the same thing could be said about old referees.
The referee should be reprimanded for this fight. The bell rang like 8 times and the round was over. I’m not understanding boxing at all anymore. It seems like old fashioned cheating like back in those days. And I’m talking about all of boxing from the Heavyweight all the way down to Featherweights. I don’t even order PPV Fights anymore. Besides, you see more drama from the fighters on social media than you do in rings. And that’s only if you can get two top fighters in the ring. Everybody’s running from each other, but walk away from money. It’s time all these supposed to be top notch fighters, fight each other.

Great performance by Madrimov, the guy is real deal, He has just 8 fights in professional boxing, but look at how is getting amazing his resume. Potential 🔝p4p fighter in the near future.
Looked average, got hurt in multiple occasions, where his opponent never pressed on (Rookie). And the T.K.O will be a straight out steal if it sticks.

Unfair to Madrimov? It would be unfair to boxing to let that absurd stoppage stand and move on as if there's nothing to see. It needs to be a no contest. I mean, if Soro had been knocked unconscious at least you could argue it, but he wasn't. Soro took 5 power punches after the bell and was still standing and had the bell been respected he would've walked to his corner just fine
Madrimov should be disqualified. The bell went off for nearly 4 seconds and Madrimov kept punching on. You'd have to be deaf not to hear the bell which i doubt is the case here.

That's not how it works. Those last five shots were fouls and the ref had no business calling it. Madrimov had no choice. It would have been ruled an NC no matter what.

Of course it's a no contest. To those who say that Madrimov was ahead and would have finished Soro in the next round or won by decision: that's probably true, but any boxing fan can name at least 10 matches where the fighter everyone was giving a loss in round 9 managed to turn the tables in unpredictable way before the end of the fight. You can't be sure of anything until the final bell rings. That's the beauty of this sport. Give the man a rematch!
