Two unforgettable sightings on Skukuza's Golden Triangle

Cited as the one drive in the Kruger National Park where visitors can see all of the Big Five in one day, Skukuza's Golden Triangle is a drive worth doing. Like any drive in the Park, sometimes you have some really great sightings, and at other times you see very little. We were fortunate enough to drive the route several times and came away with two very special and individually unforgettable sightings. The first was an eagle with a kill right next to our vehicle, a kill which it eventually lost to another predator, and the second was an intimate and very special lion sighting on the H1-2. Fantastic episode, the closeup of the four birds of prey in one shot was lovely. You never know what to expect !!!!
That's so true, you never know what is waiting around the next corner. These feeding birds were a great sighting. We spent, probably 50 minutes with them.
