KRUGER North to South in 4 days! (4K)

Gosh I have missed this place. Only the second upload in the last year, but that is all about to change. I will be posting weekly again, Saturdays at 1pm (GMT +2). A proper explanation for my absence will be coming in a few episodes time, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy getting back on the road with us.
This episodes picks up right where the You Decide episode finished. We are heading back into Kruger National Park, and making our way down south in only 4 days. This is a seriously long drive, and I probably wouldn't recommend doing it so fast, but we were still rewarded with some incredible sightings!
I really hope you all enjoy, and it is so good to be back!

  • Great to see you two (and Jabari!) again! Lovely sightings, and well presented, as always. And I so appreciate you guys showing off the smaller stuff as well - the kingfishers, the owl, black backed jackal, korhaan, etc etc etc etc... Reminding us again that's it's not all about the Big 5! Looking forward to the next episode!

  • Great to have you back posting your videos. It doesn't matter how many times we go to Kruger, it's always special. We're coming over in April, from the UK, for a three week stay once again. Going from South to North and back again. I had my map book out and was following your journey, Shingwedzi is one of our favourite areas. Like you we prefer to stay out of the busier areas. Last year we had a Leopard sighting to ourselves for 40 minutes. We were joined by another car but only after we had waved them to come back as they drove past!! That sighting was our 1 and only Leopard during a 3 week trip. Can't complain though, we had a pack of Wild Dogs to ourselves for half an hour. Happy days!

    • Thank you! Are you originally from SA? I love the park so much, I don't think there is another reserve that strikes such a balance between abundant wildlife and accessibility, which is also why it ca n get a little busy I guess.

      @LostinAfrica@LostinAfrica Жыл бұрын
    • @@LostinAfrica No, we're both Brits but did live in RSA and Botswana back in the 80's for 6 years. The invisible threads pull us back time and time again. KNP is very special and I agree re the accessibility, it's just all there. Next year we plan on going to KTP during a 5 week tour of Namibia. We'll be concentrating on the Southern part of Nam this time so thought we might aswell cross over into KTP.
