Would You Stop A Boy From Drinking?

I decided to conduct a social experiment seeing how people would react if they saw a little boy drinking in public. The results were shocking!

    • bruh... everybody passing sees the camera, you need to have it hidden or people will not act naturally, theyre looking right into the lens and your actors are obvious, find some script writers, at least. but ideally you need to push harder, figure out a way to create a scenario where people will intervene unknowingly, this will be more likely when youre not on the rich side of town due to a relatively diminished interest in crossing social boundaries; ie "real people" check out topnotch idiots channel. i think theyre mainly pranksters and have a different style but you could still learn from it

  • I realize that this wasn’t a real story, but in this world, there are children that live in such horrible circumstances that they turn to alcohol or drugs to escape reality. That’s really a shame, & it can destroy their lives or kill them. There needs to be more people that truly care & that try to get the children help. This is heartbreaking!! 😢🙏

  • It's very sad to see something like that, how people walk by. It's just that in this society, in this time, you need a certain hardening and a resistance, because you see a lot, especially in cities or big cities. You see there a lot of misery or suffering, so you have developed a psychological resistance to such life situations, which "help" you look over it. I'm an empathetic person, but I have also seen a man in a wheelchair without limbs and walked past, although it was very sad. Normally I also help, but I know that there are also people with bad characteristics or ulterior motives, which you must not trust in any case over the way, because these people are unscrupulous and work together to rip off helping people.

  • I want to be mad at the woman, but I mean we don't know what her intentions were. Maybe she tried to take it away from him by saying "let me have a sip", and once he said no she tried to offer him her drink just so he would be willing to give his away. Maybe I'm thinking too positive here. Its just really hard to accept that there actually are people...let alone ADULTS that would be willing to do such a thing for more alcohol.

  • I can confirm that these things alone or happen more in these societies that self-determine advanced and first world. Apparently they are so advanced and people are so busy that they can do things like see a 10-year-old boy with a bottle of whiskey and pass by without telling him anything. It's not my business, they usually say. But in ours, in African countries, a child is everyone's business, not even two minutes would have passed and someone would have taken the bottle from his hand and even someone would have given him a reprimand in whip mode and taken him home, called his mother or something

  • Kids are allowed to drink here in my country just not on the streets. Kids can go to restaurants with their parents and their parents are allowed to order them alcoholic drinks. Kids found drinking on the street are just taken home(by cops) to their parents to deal with. That’s the only thing we can do when seeing a kid drinking is by ringing the police

    • That's so bad for them, even more so than adults. They're small so they're affected more by alcohol, and if they consume too much, it can slow down their brain development. And if you factor in how alcohol affects everyone, it really is not a good idea for kids to drink alcohol. For adults, moderate drinking isn't terrible, although there is no safe amount of alcohol you can drink. I've only drunk alcohol a few times, and I never drank enough to even get tipsy.

When I went on the video, it said it was a minute ago, and there was no views.* Anyway, about the social experiments, they are really good! It's really wholesome to see that some people would care about him, and tell him to actually stop drinking. Sometimes some people won't buy any of it because they can see a cameraman beside them, filming the social experiment. You should film the video secretly, maybe hiding in a tree, maybe in a fence or something similar to that. But, anyways, yeah, great to watch, it's entertainment for me, and many other people.
