I’m Lex Veldhuis, a poker professional and an official ambassador of PokerStars. I have been in the poker industry for 17 years and counting! When I was only 5 years old I got in touch with computer games and got very competitive with beating the games. In 2004 I began with my first online poker games and the rest is history. In 2016 I started streaming every single game live on Twitch.
On my channel, you can expect all of my biggest scores and best runs, poker and stream highlights, and competitions. Next to that, I invest $100,000 per month of my own money in tournament buy-ins.

As a microstakes player, the craziness in these tournaments is a lot fun and you can get a huge stack/bounty quickly just by picking off players who stack off super loose.
Trueee lots of action and the more marginal people play and higher variance, the more chance for someone who might not do as well normally

Im new to poker and dont really play tournaments. How does pay out work for first place? I obviously noticed the prize money for 1st & 2nd are the same. Does first place get a bonus to their bounties? or is 2nd place’s bounty the prize itself lol

8:20 Any chance I can get your thoughts on the turn raise in this hand? I would never make this play so I'd like to understand.
So he leads the turn cause the equity advantage in this hand changes over to him. That doesn't mean we should always just slow down and call. We can still bluff / get value vs a reasonably wide range. He can lead worse 9x, lower pair, 7x, flushdraws, straight draws. So lots to get value from and we have a hand that needs some protection. So raising here occasionally can be very good.

Why are the combined bounties double if you win? Is that just a thing? It also never dawned on me that you'd get to keep your own
That's just the best way to calculate how much is still on each player
Once you realise he won around 20k and was still down like 15k That last session I lost 200 dollars in doesn't seem so bad😂😢
Hey Lex, the A2 hand when u were 4 handed, was it a mistake to make it 2.5 bb and let the action get reopened? Or am I getting the rules wrong. And would A2 not be a closer call in that spot then ur snapfold suggested? He can easily isolate with worse hands, 2 Bounty's in play, 2 potential ladders, you would still have a equal stack with the guy that jammed A10 guy, and the other 2 players were short stacked. GG!

Being naturally suspicious of anything ‘on line’ I’m imagining that for someone who could crack the code, it would be easy to see all other players cards. Naturally a criminal gang could make a fortune relatively easily by simply playing cards. How safe is on line poker? I always play mano y mano. I also believe that there are Bots that have almost perfect logarithms that take away the human aspect. Am I paranoid or is there any truth in what I’m saying? Ps love Spraggy
