Welcome to the official Lex Veldhuis KZhead channel!
I’m Lex Veldhuis, a poker professional and an official ambassador of PokerStars. I have been in the poker industry for 17 years and counting! When I was only 5 years old I got in touch with computer games and got very competitive with beating the games. In 2004 I began with my first online poker games and the rest is history. Last years I was focussed on Twitch Livestreaming but now it is time for KZhead!
On my channel, you can expect all of my biggest scores and best runs, poker and stream highlights, and competitions. Next to that, I will review different hands I’ve played in the past & show you why I made those decisions and provide you with Learn with Lex videos for the beginners in poker!

  • Great plays Lex, last call was kinda logic since you were running this good. What’s mind boggling to me is that you’re saying your goodbye’s during this hand (starting 56:03), as if your KO already happened!!

    • Ps. You could let somebody check your ‘lesser calls’ during tournaments, when eating. I would say in this hand the turn raise bij Serg is pure pot control (rather small). You could agree reraising would get you far more information… (And I wanna bet, the focused you would read this small raise as weak and would act upon it.)

  • hey lex, i really like watching your videos, im a cash game player, i see that you call a lot at some spots that i just raise or shove, do you think with smaller stacks we call more instead of raising or shoving?, like when the board is too wet on the flop i usually raise, or when i have a combo draw on the turn i like to shove in 3bet pots as well etc..

    • I’ve had similar thoughts, a lot of times opponents are just realizing equity really well bc of the lack of raising, I would think on the final hand check raising turn would have been a good option

  • Without coming across as a noob. It seems aces vs kings happens about 8x as much as kings vs queens. I understand you always se the a v k spots at showdown but it just seems a bit ridiculous. I had my kings beaten by aces 5 times in a row once. Over the course of a couple of Weeks that is. Is it just perspective?

  • i dont wanna be a chat pro but i think you couldve and shouldve raised all in on the turn . Even if he had a nine , which he never has there.. You had 20 percent equity but added to the fold equity and your image i think it wouldve looked like value , because it was the nine of hearts

  • You played them kings so bad vs Queens. I like the flat preflop and the call on flop. But on the turn you have to shove cause he obvouisly have Jacks plus there. So you lost a lot of value
