That patrol doing 365 kmh (226 mph) is absolutely mental, especially when you see the tuned GTRs and lambos are hitting 320km/h

Just a quick note to any trucks with tailgates doing 1/2 mile events. Don’t put the tailgate down. It causes substantially more drag. The tailgate up or taken off completely is the best option. The air moving over the bed slams directly into the tailgate if left down. When up, the bed acts as kind of an air reservoir and the air moving over the top actually skips off it and flows over the bed to an extent. Removing the tailgate completely would be the best option of the 3.

Man, they REALLY need some sticky prep for this track. Nobody could get hooked after 300 ft. or so.. The speed on that Patrol was just nuts!😲

I don’t think it’s the tune that’s the problem. but the dusty track and extremely smooth asphalt they have over there. All the awd cars did fine even without a prepped track

@@Swemist But it is available in seemingly abundance in Saudi Arabia and only because it fits huge beadlocks and a huge engine with a huge turbo.
@@Alex-xl4xe Yes,in Saudi Arabia there are many Patrols but there is also unlimited money,which is almost required for the most extreme constructions..The use of the car type is probably also that it is simply a very good car in the basics that can take a lot of beating from bad roads and strong engines.

I feel like a lot of these drivers are just people with lots of money wanting to have fun. Nice cars with a lot of great parts and tons of money spent but very few of them can handle the cars or even shift gears. A little seat time would do wonders.

I've never done anything like this so I shouldn't say anything, but just from watching the video I get the feeling 2/3rds of the people inside the cars have absolutely no idea what they are doing.
that's probably true, but how else are they supposed to learn and get to know their cars? You gotta start somewhere, and if you have the change to start in a 200K car, then more power to you I say.
