What's wrong with selecting an object and changing its color in Photoshop? In this video, learn how to target colors instead with "Hue/Saturation" to precisely change the colors of an object without having to make selections. Unlike several other methods, this technique also allows you to change any color to white or black.
me, who doesnt use photoshop: hmm yes interesting
it's made in the official krita edition. Every niche youtuber use it especially thumbnails.
@@graphitic5578 look in the title
@@jonathan10007 photoshop, a bloated but large edition of krita.
@@graphitic5578 Isn't krita used for art?
@@akshayhere yeah but it has extended it's reach for other skillsets, the photo-editing of organs (especially pubic hair) and programming language for it that reads the pixels to say to the computer, it's awesome.
And yes, PiX has done it again. Crazy good tutorial below 1 minute with a technique that gets rid of all the problems you and i, mortal average Ps users, usually come across. Editing is smooth too ! Might require a bit more work for sure, but I like the fact that it's not just a "screen" video. Thank you so much for these :]

I have been using Photoshop since 1993, you have some of the best tutorials out there.
What was the first version u used? Mine was ps7
Damn you're old 💀
yup same, never know it before
@@visualdosage234 i thought they only released upto PS5
@@IndraD wait.. do you guys have a ps?
Photoshop is one of those programs i know how to use for a month when i need it, but as soon as i stop using it i forget everything and i need to re-learn it every single time i need it.
This guy utilizes the absolute 100% of the power of Photoshop while a layman like me has just been scratching the surface all this time
I thought I was a smarty just using auto colour selection.
OHhh lol
This guy taught me more in a few short KZhead videos than my computer class teacher taught me in a year.
KZhead shorts needs a Save to Playlist option.
Congratulations KZhead saw your comment
It has save option 😂

Can you please tell me which app this is?
I personally use the color range select option, works just as well but it's simpler Select > color range > you can choose a preset color or sample a colour > done Then creat a hue and saturation layer and it works the same
At first most the tips i saw in these shorts were things ive discovered through experience over a decade of using this program. But ill be damned, youve managed to find quite a few tricks and tips to share that I wouldn't have ever really expected to need to know, yet now have a thousand tgoughts on how i could use them. Thanks for sharing so many of these.
Finally a great short (talking about all shorts in general) Compact and impactful
I LOVE IT - me a casual guy without photoshop
Seriously, did I even go to class?? Where was I when this was shown? Damn it how many hours have I lost?
A decade I’ve been using photoshop and in just a week this man has taught me some of the most valuable lessons in under a minute
i don’t even have photoshop and everytime this man’s shorts come up on my feed i sit there and watch the whole thing, every time.
Oh I know a tip for this method. If your colors look a bit weird (too bright, too dark or uneven) after changing the hue go to: Image > Mode > Lab And now it preserves brightness according to perceived brightness by the human eye!
Been using photoshop for years and didn't know about targeting colors. Thanks!
ITS. FUCKING. G.I.M.P
@@yourlocalpybro9734 its photoshop lmfao
This is what i call quality content, so many reels about dumb or fake tutorials of Photoshop with expensive promotion but you put so much professional work on it, and it's also free.
This guy is the reason most of my clients are happy. I scroll through his videos on every assignment. Interesting videos and easy to follow instructions. I won't lie, it also helps that he's handsome 😉
Wow this is a throwback for me, I had a Photoshop ROP class, which is just a class you take for credits at your school but at another location, and the teacher made a huge deal out of doing this method, at the time I didn't care because it took more effort and I didn't care about Photoshop aside from making stupid edits, but now seeing this today I can really appreciate how much better the result looks.
I actually really like your voice, a surprisingly satisfying video to listen to.
I’ve been using Photoshop since 1812. You’re tutorials are the best!
🤔
25 years and this is the best tip ever...well done sir!
Amazing, thank you! Can you release this as a video so we can save it?
Like the video and it'll probably be in your liked list of videos
@@AbnormalyAvrg It is, but I'd prefer to save it to my designs tips playlist so it's easier to find. I like a lot of videos.
@@luhole you should be able to view it as a normal video by changing the shorts in the URL to a normal KZhead videos URL (I'm not on desktop atm so not sure how the syntax is)

Gimp not ps
The lightness adjustment was super impressive
Your tips are so powerful it makes me feel like I could have a career in this coming from not knowing anything about Photoshop.
Oh my god this is LITERALLY what I'm looking for this helps so much 😭😭
Unmesh, you are such a terrific person, what can´t be said enough, even if it´s hard to put it in words. I´am not an artist like you but use PS for my private fotographs. PS was a real mysterium for a long time, but since i l´ve learned so much from you it´s really fun to get used to PS image manipulation. The way you´re able to explain complex workflows even an amateure like me can understand, is exceptional. But YOU even top this, by being such an sympathical an nice person, where just following your videos is brighten up your day. Thank you very very much for all your effords and what what i have learned from you about PS. It´s easy an makes fun "to let´s keep creative. Bernd
Thank you, sir - short, succinct, makes intermediate photoshop skills seem graspable.
Love your tutorials. Wish you were here in person as I’m still struggling to understand it fully 😂 but keep it going And maybe I’ll master it eventually
That pen grab was so smooth, dang.
He's literally the Indian tutorial guy the memes are talking about
Incredibly useful. This is something I struggle with often in my own projects. Thanks for this!
omg i just did this to change the eyecolor on an image an it looks SO clean and good! THANK YOU!!! It's so simple and fast, I will definitely keep this in mind and probably keep using this for all kinds of color adjustments!
Legend. Thanks a lot
Can we just sign a petition for Adobe to name this man as their most important member?
No. Hell no. What are you thinking
All I needed are easy to understand tutos and I found them !
As a video editor I do something similar to colors. Like green screening but with whatever colors. Interesting to see what it’s like on the photo editing side of KZhead
I’d love a similar gimp channel for those of us without a photoshop license!

License? Arrr, ain't nobody got the money for that; that's why I got mine for free.
someone gave me their photoshop for free lol
Which lg monitor do you use?

Educational content that delivers in only a few seconds. I wish this idea existed decades ago.

I’ve learned more from you than I ever did in college.
Seeing the black and white was so satisfying 😍
This opens up a new horizon of possibilities

This has always been a problem for me, trying to change the colours of selected objects in Photoshop, but now it's awesome to see you have a solution for it also
This is the way to teach!!! Great short tutorial!!!
I don't use photoshop, but your vids are so helpful and interesting that I might get into it.
So this is how they get those pictures of the same product in different colors, but in the same exact position. You have finally closed that loop in my brain, thank you sir
Randomly stumbled upon this, and now I want to get back into Photoshop again. This is great stuff.
It's also targeting other reds in the whole layer, like the grass on the hills.
Thats what the mask at the end was for. So the changes only appear on the jeep.
And almost all of your tricks work in Affinity Photo! Thank you so much for all the knowledge you share with the community! Wishing you blessings and health.
You've taught me more about photoshop, than all my teachers combined. Thank you.
As a fellow graphic designer I must say this is another excellent tutorial.

The coolest part for me was the gravel was slightly "reflecting" the color of the car as it would in real life. It was subtle but very cool! Make sure to include the ground around the car in the mask. Awesome work!
Always a great tutorial, as always. Thanks again!
