I highly recommend to give a test drive before buying, you will save a ton of money and just as good or better car.

    • How is it on the highway? I'm considering either the HRV, Corolla Cross, or Crosstrek. We mostly use it for short city trips and errands, several day trips in the summer, and one annual longer road trip (for three passengers including one teen). I'm disappointed in the lack of an armrest or connectivity in the back of the HRV but it's not a deal breaker. Any opinions based on the above?

I'm 5"10 by the way. Right now I don't have any problems with it. I mean I'm ok with it's horsepower compared to other SUVs, but the Safety features and interior space really suits our family of 4.

It is very nice n smooth car. Love it. Instead of buying BMW, Mercedes, Audi expensive cars I go for Japanese cars, very economical, easy to maintain, service , maintenance costs is very less. Expensive cars are liability n difficult to maintain.

  • The displays for the 2024 Crosstrek mentioned at about the 8:05 mark are incorrect. The base model comes with two 7.0 inch displays as standard. The premium, sport and limited models come standard with an 11.6 inch display. It is not an option. I'm loving my two week old, Subaru Crosstrek (base model).

  • I needed a cross over for easier access and exit of this aged body. Not an easy move from a life of "exotic" vehicles. However age and common sense and the need not to have two money draining very low mileage cars on the drive meant a brain choice rather than heart. I chose a VW T-Cross and whatever critics say it is a great vehicle for my current needs with it's 1.5 ltr Turbo and auto box. Yes it is no looker , maybe the 2024 will be, but great to drive , very comfortable and quiet. 🇬🇧

Whoever thought having to look down at the controls while driving should be fired. The amount of effort it takes to do something simple like switching from radio to Bluetooth is unnecessarily convoluted and it doesn't connect my phone to Bluetooth unless it's wired in. That being said, I want to go EV but since I cannot afford the prices, will instead look at the Corolla Cross Hybrid next year. Kona has a hybrid, but not for sale in the U.S. and Canada. Shameful! I love the "spaceship" design of the new Kona but when you add AWD to the Limited model (I'm driving my 2nd Limited Kona), it's almost $35,000!!! For that price, a hybrid is a better deal.

  • This is actually from a real Subaru owner: I made it a whole 300 miles in my brand new Crosstrek 2024 sport (yeah the fancy one with yellow stripe and all) before It forced a full stop on me while driving!! Do I need to repeat that vehicle was in 'D' mode when the computer decided its time to full stop??!. Subaru towed it away 2 weeks ago. If I had been on the freeway, not in turtle mode, it could have killed me! Not sure if I even want it back. Subaru, I'm afraid of my Subaru!!!

Even the previous generation came either 1.6 turbo as standard. The kona is not a suv. Never has been. Cuv at a push. This must be north, America. Because our hrv look nothing like this old design and dies not come with a dirty old under powered 2.0.

  • If you like cars you would not drive Honda, Subaru or Toyota even as a gift based on how ugly they are!!! Maybe Hyundai but it's a bet! If you like cars you would not drive all of those except Mazda cause it's fun to drive and being inside a beautyful place. This is the starting point! Now you can start to think about your money! Cars are like a dresses, you look at quality cause you fit in, but you buy only the pretty ones don't give a dollar to the ugly ones!!! Not for women (do not exist this kind of) just for men: if you are a shirt and shorts practical man you can choose whatever it comes

    • I bought a CX-30 since I could choose which gear is best to drive in. For an automatic, going up or down one gear at a time saves me a lot of shifting of the transmission when traffic slows down or or on undulating mountain roads and is the best alternative to a manual transmission I could find now. With no CVT, the six speed transmission gives me the opportunity to use only the gear I want to use at the time.

You would never understand the Asian countries how passionate they are to their job. One example is most of them treat job more passionate than their families. That's why they can produce good stuff.
