Being born in 1980 I missed the Western era of movies and TV. But The Rifleman is still one of my favorite shows to watch reruns of. The way he had the screw set to pull the trigger as he ripped the action to let off rapid fire was awesome.

As a single shot fan, antique lever was the Marlin, I have a Henery1860 in .45, just awesome. But for cost, build, and reliability, the modern Henry. I like the 38/55. The caliber is good for anywhere on this continent at 200 yard's. I still like .50 cal and larger. My preference. At 67, I've shot them all. Hands down, I'm a Sharps person.

@@columbiawarmachine9795 yes I never liked gold I have a 22 golden boy but when I got my 45 colt I got the silver boy I always wanted,like to have gotten the deluxe engraved but figured that the extra $800 would be more worth loading components...I believe most people would prefer silver but most don't know they exist because they push the Gold so much,,Rossi 92 has a stainless barrel also but I couldn't find one avaliable at the time so I went with Henry hmmmmm
