Love this. I feel like video games are growing WITH us. Being 35 now with a wife and kids, it's much easier to break out a handheld in bed chillin' with my wife before we go to sleep than it was when I was a young lad able to chill on the couch and play for hours with no responsibility.

Agree. But any handheld needs to allow for sleep/suspension in moments notice. That's what I'm missing. When children or wife needs attention I can't let them wait 3 minutes to shutdown the device and then start it up 3 minutes, then I could also play on the pc 😅

I think that even when having pretty much the same hardware as their competitors, Lenovo's approach to the whole gaming on the go idea really makes this device stand out. I still think SteamOS is the answer we need as far as software goes -unless Microsoft makes me change my mind- but on the other hand... Legion Go here, is the answer to the hardware. This has to be the default handheld experience. Bravo Lenovo.
Agreed, hardware here looks great, but software has to go to Steam. RIP Volition & Saints Row

Didn't you already own A Steam Deck, An Ayaneo, A1 pro, Rog Ally, A Ps5, Xbox, Nintendo, and now this.
As amazing as that is, it can go further. AMD/Intel smartphone my friend, with every selling point of a handheld PC and a phone. Yes that includes close to infinite OS updates, would give much needed competition to the Android and iOS duopoly.
Plus it gives you higher FPS by using the Thunderbolt Display Port not just with the monitor BUT WITH THE VR GLASSES and wait that's not it we are talking about a smaller screen as well that means less GPU/CPU consumption than a huge monitor just imagine if the two controllers had GYRO it will be a full VR PC on the go... That's INSANE!!

Great device!!! Would like to see this paired up to an eGPU
Dedicated docking stations with GPUs for all handhelds would be a dream come true!
The problem is bandwidth, specially if you don’t dock it to a TV. The handheld market has improved a lot this year, but the eGPU hasn’t yet. The best ones by far are Asus xgmobile and they are limited to their proprietary connector that even is just like 20cm long and still suffer from bandwidth issues. USB needs to improve more to make eGPU set ups the rund they deserve
I think one of those usb-c's is a thunderbolt 3
@@jonathantroyer2822 It is, but while thunderbolt 3 speeds are nice, bandwidth can be insufficient. Problem with eGPUs is that the higher end they are, the less performance you'll get comparatively to their desktop variants. And the lower end they are, the less noticeable the increase will be.
Why does everyone insist on turning handheld devices into non-handheld devices in favor of better graphics? Just get a mini-ITX PC at that point, still portable, cheaper and more powerful than a handheld with eGPU.
