  • This movie hits differently when you realize there is a clause in the Accords that exempts Tony from its limitations. The Accords regulate super-powered individuals, whether that is by genetic cause or advanced technology. But it states that any individual with a prosthesis, even one that makes them ‘super-powered’ is exempt. Tony’s arc reactor was originally a medical prosthetic for his heart, and he never revealed publicly that he no longer needed it by the point of Civil War. Tony was pressuring Steve to sign a document that would bind his hands while Tony’s remained unchained, and the Accords would bring Zola’s ultimate goal to fruition, that freedom is sacrificed for security. Of course Steve Rogers would be dickishly stubborn about not signing the Accords.

    • gongsandblazes12 Tumblr's obsession with Steve and Bucky having a romantic and extremely sexual relationship is weird lol I've no quarrel with the friendship that's constantly portrayed in the movies. Bucky is literally Steve's only living connection to his past now that Peggy is gone. As far as the insulting, lol it's the internet, who really cares? Like what do you expect?

      @assassinscreedess@assassinscreedess7 жыл бұрын
    • On the contrary, it is perfectly understandable. Steve and Bucky's relationship is so highly fraught and charged that it generates this kind of discussion and interest. Does that mean two men cannot be friends? Absolutely not but in this situation Steve and Bucky's bond has an erotic dimension (erotic does not only mean sexual). Their friendship generates tension that it subsumes straight platonism into that of sensual significance. Their friendship isn't quite romantic or platonic. It is a synthesis of both that it leads to an apotheosis of them both. Their friendship plainly put transcends the prosaic and that is rare with male friendships or female friendship. That's what Plato was trying to get at in his depiction of the male/male bond. Infact true friendships often have a psycho-romantic dynamic. There is a meeting of mind, body and soul (again this is not sexual).So to chalk what people are picking up on - albeit not having the proper words to express - down to tumblr shipping or fangirl drooling is nonsense imo.

      @gongsandblazes12@gongsandblazes127 жыл бұрын

  • Zemo's full plan (for those who don't have the habit to pause a video at a certain point.) Appears at 2:51 in the video. 1. Blame The Avengers for my family's death even though Ultron killed them. 2. Decrypt millions (?) of Black Widow's SHIELD/HYDRA files to find out the identity of the Winter Soldier and the identity of his former handler. 3. Find the handler and hit his car. Hopefully he answers the door at a creepy, secluded safe house. 4. Find the Winter Soldier's activation codes (hopefully in a cool-looking book). Learn how to use the codes myself - I can do that right? 5. Ask for "Mission Report: December 16, 1991," implying that I already know what happened. Whatever. If HYDRA guy doesn't answer, drown him. 6. Hopefully, around this time, what happened in Sokovia will cause the government to press for superhero regulation, creating both a rift between Captain America and Iron Man and an opportunity for me to frame Bucky for something and make them super, duper mad at each other. That's bound to happen, right? 7. Obtain a Bucky Barnes mask and wig (Halloween store?). 8. Bomb the signing of the new regulations (Sokovia Accords has a nice ring to it). Scowl for the cameras. 9. Hope that Captain America sides with Winter Soldier and Iron Man sides against them. If these two aren't fighting, I just bombed a building for no reason. 10. Build a homemade EMP device - I can do that, right? 11. Wait for Bucky to get captured by Tony Stark's forces. If he escapes or is killed, or if anyone else captures him, this plan is worthless. 12. Intercept, kill and impersonate the psychiatrist brought in to analyze Bucky. Don't worry - I'll know exactly who he is and when he will arrive, but no one else will even know what he looks like. 13. Infiltrate Stark's insanely high security government facility and gain unfettered access to the Winter Soldier. This facility will likely be guarded with maximum security but I must be left ALONE with no one else in earshot or physical proximity. NO GUARDS!! 14. Arrange for my homemade EMP to be delivered precisely when I'm interviewing the Winter Soldier. If the package is late or gets inspected, this plan is worthless. 15. Activate the EMP and knock out power to the facility. 16. Use code words to activate the Winter Soldier. Fingers crossed they still work!! 17. Ask Winter Soldier for "Mission Report: December 16, 1991". Again, I only need this specific report, which means I definitely probably already know what happened. 18. Have Winter Soldier fight the Avengers to cover my escape. Hopefully he doesn't kill Cap or Iron Man. Also if I'm caught, this plan is worthless. 19. Hopefully Captain America and Iron Man begin to disagree so much they activate every other superhero to choose one side or the other prompting a CIVIL WAR. But if either Cap or Iron Man is captured or killed, this plan is worthless. 20. Fly to Russia, call the room service lady so they can discover the psychiatrist's body, exposing my true identity and tipping off Iron Man, who will definitely get what's happening and then fly to Siberia ALONE to assist to Captain America and Bucky WHO HAVE ALSO TRAVELED ALONE so I can turn them against each other and they'll fight. If it doesn't happen exactly like that, this plan is worthless. 21. Kill the other frozen Winter Soldiers and wait for Cap and Iron Man to arrive. Listen to my dead wife's voicemail to pass the time. 22. Reveal to Iron Man that Bucky killed his parents - maybe there's a VHS tape or other convenient evidence? Like a security camera on a desolate forest road? It's a long shot, but hopefully there are multiple angles to see exactly what's happening. 23. Leave Iron Man, Cap and Bucky to fight it out! Yes! I've defeated the Avengers! (If there's no winner or they come to some kind of understanding - this plan is worthless). 24. Delete dead wife's voice mail. Kill myself. Hopefully no one stops me.

Also I find it very funny that you act like you know more than Kevin Feige who is one of the new people on Earth who knows the entirety of the plot of Avengers 4 along with the Russos, and the writers am not saying we should 100% believe anything he says but you shouldn't completely dismiss him sunce like I said he's one of the few people who knows the entirety of the plot of Avengers 4. Also one thing that any fan of either Marvel or DC knows is that Marvel has great heroes but crappy villains, and DC has crappy heroes but great villains, and since these are movies solely about the heroes, gotta go with Marvel.

  • Remember that problem Antman hat with that tank? It was in the end just a tank miniature with the weight of a tank when you follow the way the technology worked. That problem goes both ways. When Antman grew big he would have been blown over. He was big as a giant, but only about 100kg in weight. Try balancing a long stick in the air when it's mildly windy.Possible, but still hard to hold completly still. That has about 1% of the surface area he had :) If there would have been a turbine blowing anywhere near, then antman would have been sticking against the next wall without any chance of getting of it when still this big. Antman is visually cool, but fucks over his own rules of reality and laws of physics when ever he can.
