    • Hey LCP_33, Thanks for stopping by and watching the video. Yeah, It’s definitely quite the drive for me as well at 14hrs if I stay in the U.S. but if I go up through Canada it cuts off almost 3 hrs. As yo can see it’s well worth it for sure with how amazing the trails are. Take Care 👍🏼

  • TWO thank you(s) going out to you, 1. for the GoPro cam info you gave me was a huge help and 2nd for posting your rides in Aroostook County. Because of your posts and PastieBoy, a group of us are now in the planning stage for our first trip up to Fort Kent area for a one week stay. Your videos gave me a good look at places to stay, eat and what to expect for trails. I am soo stoked for this trip. I usually trailer my sleds on a open trailer (utility trailer 7x18), but I am buying a enclosed Mission trailer for this ride and I will finally have a place to store my sleds and get them out of my garage off season. Thank you soo much for you vids!!👍

    • That’s awesome !👍🏼 You’re going to love it up there.. If I were to make a suggestion on your trip, Travel north on Sunday and then ride Monday- Friday then travel home Saturday. Like most everywhere the trails get busy on the weekends and a lot less during the week. They stay pretty much flawless as you can see in the videos. Depending on where exactly you want to ride from each day there’s a lot of nice houses for rent on airbnb and Pond Brook Cabins in Eagle Lake has 4 really nice cabins and is right on the trail. I believe cabin #2 can hold up to 7 people. Any questions let me know and I’ll point you int he right direction. Take Care 🤙🏼

    • @@SometimeIsNow Thank you again. Group size will be 6 riders. I have Pond Brook and another place on Eagle lake book marked and another place outside of Houlton. It will be a Mon-Friday ride. Any more questions, I'll give you a shout.

  • I have been enjoying your channel and especially the videos on the Cat. I have the same sled but in a Sidewinder version. I thought the Elka shocks and dual rate springs would at least make the Cat equivalent to the Ski-Doo in terms of ride comfort. More tuning needed?

    @nbwinder@nbwinder Жыл бұрын
    • Hey Brian, Thanks for watching the videos and supporting my channel. The Elka shocks are top of the line and they were well worth the investment. Comparing the Elkas to a set of smart shox is hard to do. Smart shox’s set in comfort mode have almost zero compression and the suspension moves up and down without any resistance and are very plush. The Elka shocks have a specific settings with the High and low compression and rebound. Now to have a fair comparison you’d need to compare a set of Elka’s to Skidoo’s standard XRS KYB piggyback pro 40 like what was on my 900T XRS with KYB shocks. Those are comparable and the ride quality is equal if not alittle better. Nothing can compare to Smart Shox for comfort. Now.. Run through 6-12” rollers and the Elka shocks will shine over the Smart Shoxs as when you select sport it’s not much stiffer than comfort and sport + gets so stiff it’s like riding a full blown race sled and they’re too stiff. My choice is the Elkas for all around trail conditions. You might have to manually adjust the Elkas but IMO they’re a better all around shock for the way I ride. 👍🏼

  • What motor does your Cat have? I am riding the Yamacat Viper with the 1049 and am happy with it.

    @doucetrr2007@doucetrr2007 Жыл бұрын
    • Hey doucetrr2007, Vipers are a nice sled for sure. 👍🏼The T-cat has the Yamaha 998 turbo. I love the motor in this sled and has the Hurricane Cluster tune. 225, 240 & 270hp at your fingertip. I also have the Hurricane trail muffler sitting in the garage if I want to install it and when you put the muffler on the tunes change to 240, 270 & 300hp 😁 Take Care bud 🤙🏼

  • How are the DuPont slides holding up?

    @SledsandGear@SledsandGear Жыл бұрын
    • Hey buddy, With over 2100 miles this season on them the Dupont slides are still looking new as far as I can see, with full thickness.. IMO, They’re well worth the extra money. I’ll be dropping the rear skid from the Cat soon to get the shocks rebuilt and ready for next season. I’ll make sure i do a video on it when I start the process. 🤙🏼
