i made a dowel maker from iron flat bar. You can make 3 different size dowel with this dowel maker. Easy to make and perfect results.

  • Great idea. Just what I need. I'm doing a project that requires 3mm dowel but have already bought some 3mm threaded rod. Oh well. I don't know why you've got 822 dislikes, this is a wicked idea. Saves you money in the end by doing it yourself.

  • I made one of these today and it works very well. Though the finish is a little rough, so remember to make the dowel a little over size so that it can be sanded smooth to the size you want. Very good idea.
