These boys are so strong..hockey is a brotherhood
I agree.
So true bro
M_ Mallz i agree
So true
This is one of the most emotional things I’ve ever watched. #humboltstrong
You said it, whoa 😢
Pigeons 420 I’m sad
Coreen Evans you said it Coreen Evans
A Walk To Remember was pretty emotional for me
The picture of them holding hands in the hospital breaks me. I can’t imagine pain they will all carry. RIP to the young lives lost.
Still pissed that the broncos weren’t mentioned once at the espys.
Because as Max Kellerman says “no one cares about hockey” it’s sad that they were only recognized at a hockey related event
How can people dislike this video
Blai se hope they are miss clicks
They’re crying too much the screen is blurry so they clicked the dislike by accident thinking it was the like button.
Douche bags is who
Maybe they are to sad.
well think about it for one second......do you " like " this video where so many people died?
This is gut wrenching.
NHL gets it.
They are the ONLY ones who get it! That's why I'm a lifelong hockey fan! I'm no fan of Bettman's but definitely love the league and have since I was a kid! This was incredibly inspriring, no question! #HUMBOLDTSTRONG :-)
Hockey players and fans have a great understanding and love for each other, they understand they are playing a game making lots of money because of us the fan. They get it Even the Superstars get it and treat fans well.
Taco Stacks exactly
NHLERs are good people when was the last time you heard of any of them involved in anything that might be questionable if there are kids out there that want role models look up to hockey players.
Yep. 56 year old guy with tears running down my cheeks. I admit it. God Bless these families !!
Chills. And absolutely gut wrenching.
My heart hurts :( All the best to you boys ❤
Pavel Datsyuk I was on buses all though Junior hockey and even beyond that. I remember the feeling of being with the boys. Playing cards, watching movies, joking around, being brothers. It crushes my heart knowing that these kids were going towards their dream and suffered a nightmare.
Every time I look at any of these young men’s faces my body shuts down and I can’t help but cry. All they were trying to do was get to there hockey game. All I can think about is when I was a young man in the backseat with my parents or carpooling with team mates. Breaks my heart every time, if any of you guys read this I want you to know my heart goes out to everyone involved, my sticks will be out on my porch as long as I’m breathing. #humboldtstrong
Fantastic job guys. To Kaleb and Christina( sorry if I spelled your name wrong) you both did a wonderful job at speaking at the awards. I lost my niece Dayna in the accident and have made it my mission to be here for each and every one of you who have survived and lost so much. My heart aches in so many ways in this tragedy. God help us all to be there for one another❤💞❤💞❤💞
Audrey Hopfner I’m so sorry for your loss. She was taken far too soon.
Thank you Ryan, all of them were taken too soon.😪😪
You are right. Big hugs
Condolences and hugs from the east coast 💕 Trainers are the unsung heroes of every team.
As a fellow Canadian, you know that we stand by you as a Country, share in the pain, and please know these beautiful people will never fade from our memories. Never. God bless you and the rest of the Bronco's Family and trust that He accepted the one's we lost as a nation, into his arms without hesitation.
This was hard to watch. Love to the Broncos from Sweden.
I haven't cried this hard since I attended the Humboldt memorial in Edmonton while travelling Canada. We will never forget what happened in April and the hockey community will make sure of that. ❤️ Sending love from Australia 🇦🇺
I'm not crying, you are
Its just dusty in here and im pretty sure someones cutting onions. So
I was in Minnesota for a hockey tournament the weekend in which this happened. My team and i's hearts went out to the broncos in this hard time. Especially how it could happen to any of us.
The NHL players in the audience were fighting tears. Hockey is a brotherhood. Even across leagues at different levels.
On a side note, great to see Willie O'Ree still alive and well. Great decision by the NHL to come up with this award and name it after Willie.
how was everyone in the audience not absolutely sobbing? every time i see anything about these beautiful boys i lose it
Callie E I know the feeling anytime I watch something about it and start to tear up.
glad to see all the fellas lookin good up there!
Oh Jesus Christ. This was so hard.
Nipawin is my hometown and we always had and will continue to have a great rivalry with Humboldt. This was a tough one for me and a lot of people I know personally and it was truly epic how the world came together and joined us as one hockey family.
This is still so tough to watch 😔
How could you dislike this video
My heart still hurts so much for those boys and the community of Humboldt... This was one of the hardest things I've ever watched...
Just rewatched this. These boys are complete rockstars. Amazing kids.
What an absolutely gorgeous piece
Chad The Man Wait, the tribute?
Every time I watch this, I cry. Damn.
I made it until the tribute then I let it out 😭
same 😭😭😭😭😭
💚💛💚💛 humboldt strong rip to those who died and I wish to see a bright future to the survivors
i made the mistake of watching this at work......so hard to hold em back.
东北幽默的爷们 literally me rn 😭
The support has been spread all around the world and even down here in New Zealand 🏒🥅
Darcy deserved that award 110%, I knew him, he was my youth pastors uncle. This is heart breaking.
It seems there's a lot of dust in my office right now. Anybody seen my swiffer? Being from Florida, we don't have a lot of hockey teams, much less ones that are big time Junior teams. But as a hockey fan, this was a sad story that, in due time, will have a happy ending. Those boys up there are seemingly stronger than ever, and will always have each other and the memories they made with their teammates, prior to April 6th. I hope that the ones who are able and skilled enough are looked at by many (if not all) of the NHL teams. I hope the ones who aren't able to play anymore are able to find work in the sport that they love, and are able to contribute to the game in other ways. Stay strong, boys.
well put
There's cut onions in my house, whoa 😥
Beautiful
My stomach hurt watching this. This was absolutely heart breaking.
Watching this in 2020. My heart still hurts for thoes involved. Many lives effected and lost. A piece of Canada died this day. 😭😭
Still in our hockey hearts. Keep pushing boys!
This is why i love living in Canada we stand together no matter what no matter what any one is going through we all rally.
I could never imagine being exicted going on a trip to another city to do what I love and never reach the destination. I am so sorry. I don't wanna know what all of the fanilies and friends went and still are going through. The higher power may bless everyone that was in this crash or helped in anyway
Beautiful. Sending love from Alberta 💕
Wow, heartbreaking, but I'm very proud of those kids for holding each other up in what I'm sure is a very difficult time.
This is low key so hard to watch no cap
THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! PROUD TO BE 🇨🇦CANADIAN🇨🇦 💚💛💚💛💚💛
even 2 years later, i still cry every time i see this. god bless them all from america
Very sweet, eloquent and smart speech. Damn this was hard to watch.
Having them in the same league as our home town team, the ice dogs, makes this heart wrenching to watch. I’ve watched them play, and I can’t imagine having this happen to our home team
I can't not cry when I think about this
I'm from Saskatchewan Swift Current exactly and even tho this is 2 months ago or so. This still hits home and my heart still hurts when I hear this. Still tough to hear and listen. For the boys that lost there lifes R.I.P gentlemen. And the gentlemen that survived the accident keep on pushing your dreams.
I still have my hockey sticks out #humboldtstrong
Coyotesfan 40 same here
I can’t getting to much rain
Us too!
Coyotesfan 40 don’t think ill ever take mine back in
Same. It reminds me what Canada is.
When the news came in when it happened, I was numb for two days, never met a single one of them, but every Canadian and anyone who has played organized sports knows what its like on those busses, the memories you gain and experience.
Being from sask (where the broncos are from) and playing an on ice sport and being on those buses and know one of the young men that lost his life, it's nice seeing support from everyone
This Broke my heart.
My dad knew Darcy briefly, as one of his friends was really good friends with him, best friends. They knew each other and I knew him very briefly, as I have just talked to him once. That is beside the point, I teared up a little, this is gut wrenching. May I ask, how do you dislike a video such as this?
There is something wrong with this video. My vision gets blurry when I watch it. #humboltstrong What a classy group of Canadian young men 👍
11:34 that was my classmate in Humboldt... Until he moved to Alberta
what a beautiful tribute
Watching this again..Hurts to watch
Their pain is so strong. Who ever disliked this video should really check themselves!
I haven’t ever cried while watching something until now.... powerful stuff.
Rest in peace sweet souls, your now on Father's great Hockey team in heaven. love from Elle in England xx
To be honest, if I had to be a part of something like that when it happened, I would have been broken and probably not recover ever. It’s amazing how resilient these guys are, stay strong humboldt
HEY NHL !!!! DRAFT ALL THESE BOYS... WHETHER THEY MAKE IT OR NOT... DEDICATE THIS YEAR'S DRAFT TO THE BOYS WHO ARE STILL ALIVE AND THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED ON ! ...Let the dream live for the families effected by our nation's tragedy!... God Bless
I was just thinking this! THESE KIDS NEED TO PUSH FOR THE NHL. One of my Caps, Chandler Stephenson, is taking the Cup to Humboldt during his time with it over the Summer, and it should be really emotional and inspirational! I'm sure the kids'll be invited to his Cup party. I hope they get invited, at least.
Kurt Barlow 100% agree But bettman wont allow that to ever happen
@gumby WTF! If Bettman were to bar players from being drafted, it would be for a far more damning reason than surviving a bus crash.
gumby yes he would. Players get picked out of the SJHL every now and again you meat stick. This is a very good junior hockey league, not your local junior B kids
Cole Jordan what's wrong with an extra draft spot where a kid named at the draft in honor for the loss and dedication of each player and family to the game of hockey? NOTHING! ..
Ok when the music started I lost it
Canada Strong
Still feels like this happened yesterday,
Sending love from Toronto.
forever in our hearts.
4yrs later and this is still so moving
55 yrs of age and tearing up like a 2 year old. Wish i had half the strength these kids and families have. #HumboldtStrong
Incredible strength by all those involved to persevere. Thank you to Ivan English (3:55 in the video), physiotherapist for helping support their recovery!
Beautiful tribute!
Thank you Kaleb for sharing your story on the spittin chiclets podcast. You and your teammates’ strength is truly incredible and we all wish you godspeed ❤️
This was beautiful. My heart hurts for these guys ❤️
Very emotional moment.
Classy and admirable achievement by the NHL to honour the Broncos and the way in which this story has touched so many.
Awesome thumbs up
what pissed me off was how the semi passed a stop sign and got so many ppl that had many yrs ahead of them and just ende it all :((
I had tears in my eyes watching.. Strong they are and they need to be.
This was definitely a tear jerker.
This is wonderful.
This is so touching I'm so glad they honoured the coach and the team, #HumboldtStrong
Strong group of guys 💚💛💚 I hope them and their loved ones continue to have the strength to move forward
I'm crying 😭😭😭I send prayers for the broncos ❤️we love you
Such courage. Tears were flowing just watching this. Humboldt Strong !!
Awesome tribute
I left Kingston Ontario on Saturday September 9th, 2018 and with a few stops in between made it to Humboldt September 12th at 830am and was at that game. No words to describe it except .... sheer awe!
💚💛💚💛
Still tearing up after 2 1/2 months 😪 One breath at a time..
I play on a junior hockey team. Traveling the US often. They are my brothers and have gone through everything with them. I couldn’t imagine losing them. These young men are stronger than ever.
This is so wonderful humbolt strong from Denver Colorado!
That's so cool that the NHL flew them all out to be there. So much respect for the players and families
I'm not crying bro, you are
I can’t watch this without sobbing. Those poor kids, I can’t imagine what they have gone through. My thoughts and prayers are with you forever. 😔🙏🏻
What a recovery by some of the players that survived. Hopefully they can move forward in their lives.
This made me extremely emotional
Chills when they walked out on stage. Couldnt imagine what they went through. 💪
This makes me cry every time and also makes me proud to be Canadian anyone who dislikes this truly dose not have a heart
Beautiful. 💞
