  • The sound of a nice fish peeling line off of a bait feeder spinning reel is one of the happiest noises in the world.

  • Love your videos Tom. I feel your pain about losing the big one. Did that myself about 3-4 years ago and my Dad and I still talk about the one that got away. In my case though we never did catch a glimpse to see if it was a carp or huge channel cat. It headed into a downed branch near the bank and my line snapped. 😖

  • Great video ! 👍It was kind of humorous when you lost that fish and started the sad music. Sorry ! 😒Not laughing at your pain but relating the experience to a few fish I've lost. Have you ever tried Steam Rolled Oats in your mix in place of Old Fashioned Oats ?

  • Tom, would you buy the kastking reel again? I’m pending an amazing deal on one. It’s brand new in box but a 6000. Pairing it with an ugly stick bigwater 7 ft med heavy. Very stout rod. Hope the reel doesn’t look to big but it’s an amazing deal. New in the box unused. I’ve seen you’ve had some problems with them staying in fighting mode. Just curious. Love your channel by the way😎

  • Great video Tom! I went out for 8 hours today and only got one bite (lost it when my drag froze tight (first time it's happened still don't know why🙄😤). QQ - it looks like you catch a few carp every time you go out (I'm lucky if I can get two🙄). Does it usually take you some time to catch fish after you arrive? Do you prebait? Thanks a lot. Love the channel - Joe

    • The times when I get skunked or only catch a fish or two don't end up becoming a KZhead video. I don't prebait very often. Check out this video kzhead.info/sun/qM-sZtqiZH6MaHA/bejne.html

  • Just curios to know what length you 16lb fish was? Here in Australia we tend to measure the length and not so much the weight. 70cm here is a good fish.

    @user-se3mx5cg3e@user-se3mx5cg3e6 ай бұрын
    • It's the opposite for me, I almost never measure the length.

      @OutsidewithTom@OutsidewithTom6 ай бұрын
  • Are pecans cheap there? That would make for a quite expensive bait here 😂

  • Why dont u deduct the weight of the net when u measure the fish....? Been asking myself this question for many many videos, ur way makes 0 sense

    @steva_nolimits@steva_nolimits6 ай бұрын
    • Because I don't care about getting an exact weight.
