“And we’re here too for some reason” is the most accurate thing I’ve ever seen
They were basically a Chekhov's gun - for most of the film, they serve no purpose except being an audience surrogate to uncover the Mechagodzilla conspiracy in a detective-story that has no real impact on the plot. But then during the finale, they're the reason Mechagodzilla doesn't win the final battle - if they hadn't poured that flask on Mechagodzilla's computer to make him short out for a moment, Mechagodzilla would've killed Kong by burrowing its drill-tail through Kong's skull, then Mechagodzilla would've killed Godzilla while he was exhausted, and then there would've been nothing to stop Mechagodzilla becoming an unstoppable threat to the whole world.
That's how I feel about the people in every movie like this. Totally unnecessary.
@@ecthox-1mork909 they can easily replace those characters with an Apex employee who saw his boss being killed by MechaG. Then he's the one who will *hack the main control computer* like a pro instead of a cheap shot like pouring a whiskey. For the plot twist part, he revealed himself as Monarch spy agent. That would be cool but hey, lets make three characters and one of them is just a regular Apex technician.

To be fair Jia’s subplot actually added to the story and had a reason to be there, on the other hand Millie Bobby Brown and the other two’s subplot was nothing but pointless, boring filler, and it prevented the movie from being something like an 8/10 or 9/10.
@@QuokkaCore The movie was 10/10 for me because I can finally laugh in the face of all the toxic kong fans saying stuff like ‘how can a big lizard defeat kong’ before I go into a huge in depth analysis about there feats only for them to shrug it off and say ‘but kongs getting a buff in the movie he’ll definitely win 😡’ also it delivered on the monster action. Though I wish Mecha Godzilla want here and in a different movie. At most I want to see him return as Kiriyu my favorite incarnation of Mecha G

@@QuokkaCore Millie Bobby Brown's character and the other two are the reason Mechagodzilla doesn't win the final battle - you're right that they're irrelevant to the plot for most of the film, but in the climax, if they hadn't shorted Mechagodzilla's control panel when they did then MechaG would've killed Kong with its drill tail and then killed Godzilla while he was down, and then there would've been nothing that could stop MechaG from likely taking control of the Titans and ravaging the world unstopped.

Kong's parents were barely bigger then the big boy skull crawlers (like the one kong fought at the end of the movie) so that made them the same size as juvenile kong when they literally had a child? So they either had kong while being juveniles, or plot made kong WAY bigger then his parents (literally 3 times + 1 meter).

They were the reason Kong and Godzilla were able to defeat Mechagodzilla - if they hadn't poured alcohol on the control panel to make MechaG temporarily fizzle, MechaG would've dug his drill-tail into Kong's skull and killed him, then would've killed Godzilla while he was down and become a threat to the whole world.

In the novelization, Jonah Alan somehow managed to find a 2nd Ghidorah skull. It's currently unknown how or where he managed to get it from. San's/"Kevin's" skull is in Mechagodzilla, while the 2nd one serves as Ren Serizawa's control room.

Kong beat him in the 60s, unfortunately, Godzilla got more powerful later on so Kong needed help.

This has got to be the most hilarious HISHE videos I’ve ever seen in my life ever since The Falcon and The Winter one, it looks really hilarious and funny at the same time in my opinion.
I'm surprised they didn't make a funny joke about if Kong was not involved, the casualties in Hong Kong would have not been as devastating, because Godzilla was only gonna walk up to a mountain and blow up the unactivated weapon of mass destruction, then leave 😆😂
If anything, Godzilla messed up by provoking Kong by blasting into Hollow Earth, which lead to both of them taking way more damage than needed. Even if the hollow earth radiation got to Mecha G before Godzilla, he probably would have won anyways, since he doesn't fight another titan first.

And no shortage of Godzillas to be sure. All of which are canon to the Japanese films, even Zilla who appeared in Godzilla: Final Wars and probably Legendary's Godzilla (aka Titanus Gojira), just like Ultraman Great from the ill-fated Australian show Ultraman: Towards the Future.
