- Yes, but a VERY good replica .. the RCR has an Aluminum Monocoque Chassis, billet aluminum suspension arms, and fiberglass body. Also, will accept many engine/transaxles .. including many exotic V12, V10 and V8 motors .. and RCR makes their own replica wheels .. it's a top notch kit, that will cost close to 6 figures to build out.. it's not just some cheap toy shell thrown over a whipped 300K mile VW Bug.

- This is an actual replica, not a kitcar. People that know nothing about vehicles think replica and kitcar are the exact same. The only thing that is the same is "tribute" being just a "clone". This 330 P4 is spot on, of course not engine but at least it sounds like a racecar should. Superformance makes gloriously awesome Cobra Daytona replicas. I'd say Factory five's looks more like a kitcar because of the shape, it's not precise at all.

- No - actually 4, if you include chassis 0846, which originally built as P3. 0856 built as P4 and presently owned by Lawrence Stroll. 0858 - built as P4, then converted to Can-Am spec - presently has replica P4 body. 0860 - built as P4, also converted to Can-Am, but now with replica P4 body - in a French museum I think.

I don’t care that it’s a replica, when it’s a racecar from a long time ago that was a one off or had like less than 10 examples made, a replica is just cool. Instead of spending $10 million on a car and only being able to park it at the Quail and Concours, you can drive a car that looks the same, usually drives better with more modern engine and technology from a road car, costs a fraction of the real thing, and you can go to the grocery store and around town without much worry (compared to if you were driving the real thing)
